Knuckle bearings are Trunion bearings.  :yesnod:

looks like it has everything but wheel bearings.

so its lookin like 250ish to rebuild the axle, and fuel problem still undetermined, but pumps less than 100, not too bad.m while i have those axles out i wish i could do a front locker......

kit ordered! i think i might test the fuel pump sunday, make sure that is indeed my problem there.

ordered fuel pump and all the filter/socks/gaskets that go with it. get it running, move it somewhere easy to work on it, rebuild the front end.

Ouch some one lost tug of war game. That will need lots more bracing ya did not get to finish front bumper. Thanks to a fall from my bike.

just waiting for parts right now. when i get the fuel going and the axle rebuilt then i will worry about the bumper. wish i had the money to throw a locker in there while its all apart....:(

what are your thoughts on running a spool up front? i mean because on street i would be in 2wd and hubs unlocked would i be ok doing that?

Great if your only going to go in a straight line.  If you plan on ever wanting to turn however i would think about a selectable locker up front.   :yesnod:

im guessin spools are not for the front? i didnt know, all i know is that they are cheaper and im broke :disturbed:

I have a detroit easy locker for sale. Its in good condition but i broke 2 out of the 4 pins that lock it and they dont make parts for it anymore. So i went to a machine shop and got steel dowels that fit correctly. Ill sell it for 100 plus shipping.

I still have the wheel. When you coming out? I work in Oakland & can swing by & pick up the locker as long as it's paid for & ok it's with slolyfe. I don't live in Fremont so you shouldn't get a ticket this time :rofl:
