Sometimes the vacuum bleeders can't get all the air out.. Try getting a buddy and pressurizing the system old school. I'll bet you get brakes then. I've had the same issue before.
i bought a new master cylinder today and bench bled it and put it on and now when i go to bleed the brakes i get nothing but air? what could be wrong
could it be the lspv? ive got a spare i could throw on.
your using a vacuum bleeder, toss that junk, get a buddy to pump the pedal till theres some pressure then have him hold the pedal down YOU break open the bleeder, air will squirt out, then CLOSE the bleeder, and tell buddy to pump againBUDDY MUST NOT LET THE PEDAL OFF THE FLOOR TILL YOU TELL HIM TOi have never in my life even when replacing an entire system used more than 1/2 quart of fluid, but that was wheel cylinders master lines and all
did you bleed the lspv?
you could also do a gravity bleed...it takes a while, but it might work for you. all you got to do is open all four corners and just let it bleed out. KEEP AN EYE ON THE MASTER LEVEL. you do not want that to get to low.
well i could not figure it out i replaced the calipers, wheel cylinders, master cylinder twice and changed out the lspv so i loaded it on the trailer and halled it to my buddys shop, they should be able to figure it out (i hope) i have tried everything. thanks for your help guys.
