the patience will pay off though, the Twisted Toy has came along way in the past month!

Hell yeah, this is the best build going ATM... always look forward to your updates  :yesnod:

Bummer about the pups... I love blue heelers, I've had a couple over the years and my uncle worked them on his cattle property, not really a city dog unless you've got plenty of time for them.

i was at the shop till 12:30 but hey, got er dun!!! LOL!

this thing is badass.... i am so shocked that it is actually done that i had to drive it around for 30 minutes before i realized what i was really driving!!! handles great on the freeway! did the power brake test in mid range first gear.... both tires burned with NO axle wrap or hop!!! crazy!! i wont be doing that again though because it was only a test.... i have to drill my damn front flange out for my driveline and then im going wheeling this weekend! it flexed a solid 36 inches..... not bad for leaf springs and arent broken in yet!!  well here are a few pics! like a dream.....

well :pokinit:.... I had a BLAST breaking my truck in..... and i literally BROKE my truck in.... input shaft on the rear T case!  top of a climb and two hops then POP!!!!!  Tranny shifts and reduction box turns but the rear case has no movement!!! input shaft right?? floppin AA single bearing adapter!!! when i get my taxes back i am getting a MC R10 and 23 total spline input!!!  i knew that would be a weak point..... i am pissed! now i have to have a buddy pick me up tomorrow with two of my spare cases/inputs (spare parts are good) call my boss to make sure i can use the ford and flat bed trailer, go pick it up from my buddies (which we towed it to tonight) and load it up, haul it to my shop, tear out the cases, set them back up and drop them back in! so i will be able to drive it but i am still getting the marlin stuff! Im eliminating the weak points right off the bat!! next is LONGS....... but on a good note i had so much fun wheeling!!!! it flexes like a CHAMP!!!!! my buddy took a pick of me flexin it out in the dark, hopefully he sends me the pic soon so i can post it up....... stay tuned folks.....

Twisted toy down temperarily....

those stock input shafts are quite weak...definetly get the total splines from Marlin . and for the t-case gears it kind of your preference, do you want to go really really slow or just slow

i would put 4.7s in the rear case if i were you, because after you get used to the two 2.28 cases you will want lower. and if you have a stock case in front and the 4.7 in the back, you can still use stock low range if you want to, or you can go really really slow.

IF YOUR LOOKING OUT THE FRONT OF YOUR 4X4 AND YOU CANT SEE THEN JUST TURN ON YOUR WIPERS. BUT THEN THINGS GET ALL MESSED UP LIKE IN LIFE.

WHEN YOU GET TO THE END OF YOUR ROPE JUST THINK THAT ALONG TIME AGO  YOU WERE THE FASTEST LITTLE SWIMMER TO THE EGG

NICE!!!

my front drivline needs the 12 inch slip yoke, when I put her up on the lift it seperated the DL...... but when I was wheeling i had no problem under full flex!

SO........ Here is the list of things I am going to get before july, I want to have this thing built stout for the summer!

-Marlins 23 Total spline Input for rear case
-Marlins 4.7's for rear case
-12 inch slip yoke for front driveline
-Yukon 5.29's front and rear
-Detriot out back
-Aussie up front
-30 spline Longs and chromo hub gears
-build front and rear bumpers
-find a set of 38-40's

i KNOW its a hefty list but i believe it is feasable by July!

IMO i wouldn't get the 4.7's i had them and it was too low. But Thats just the type of wheeling i do lot more trails that rocks so i didn't really need it.
