i get paid tomorrow so i just have to pay for it and wait for it to arrive!!! Only a month left until i get that new SA under this beast.....  My goal is to have it SAS'ED before the 17th (of January) so i can go wheeling that weekend and test her out!!!!

RIGHT when I get my check in the first week of January I AM ORDERING ALL OF THE NECESSARY PARTS. THIS IS FOR REAL FOLKS, STAY TUNED!

One week end I'll take a pic before I pull it in the shop stock lift, and exactly how long it'll take to get it out SAS'D...


I can't stand looking at that basically BRAND NEW AXLE  waiting to be set under the 92..... it NEEDS to happen!

Me too, why'd you sell it??  I have an 89 xtra cab as well...too bad  I rolled it on black ice though after I just dropped in a rebuilt 22re, we rebuilt the tranny 20,000 miles previous to me buying it off of my dad who purchased it fresh off the lot in 1990, new clutch, alternator, fuel pump, ECM, headers, 2 1/4 flow master, whole front IFS and rear end/leafs out of a 90 yota with 44,000 original miles on it, tailgate, windshield, rear solid window, custom mounted chevy bucket seats, radiator, hoses and new alloys with 30's......... it'll get built but I had to buy the 92 cuz it was a steal :yepyep: so now I HAVE to straight axle both of them because the drivers side A arms are tweaked and they just EAT TIRES.... once I get that check there is gonna be action!! You folks will get to see some decent pics, I'm finally getting a new camera and might buy a video camera as well so I can shoot video of the Maiden Voyage

Ehhh i sold it to help out my little brother his truck had just been stolen so i sold him mine for cheap, i plan to buy another one here in a little while... gotta love them 3rd gens

well its getting closer... still collecting parts, should be placing an order from marlin by January 7th!!! Ive been working lots of overtime at the shop so my next paycheck should be FAT! PLUS I get my finacial aid/loan check within the first week of january!! WOOHOO!!   Stay Tuned!!

  Well it finally happened.... I just got done ordering almost everything I need to SAS this Beast!!!!
From Marlin:

-Extended Brake lines-red
-left and right caliper hard lines
-1.5 inch wheel spacers
-5125 Bilsteins-14 inch stroke
-shock hoops-tall
-front hanger kit with 5.5 inch shackles
-Ubolt flips front and rear
-Spring bushings
-bumpstops
-Marlin Gear logo beanie and they threw in a free gear logo shirt as well!!! 

From Sky:
-Chevy spring hanger kit
-Rear shock hoop kit

Also ordered a new IAC Valve so my truck wont surge and idle where its supposed to!! Plugs, wires, and an oil change too....... I finally get to spoil my TOY!!!!!

Still hasnt quite sunk in yet, after getting Tboned at work a week ago I've been doped up on hydro's but I'm off of them now!  The plan is for the weekend of the 17th, she goes into my shop (Fatboys Fleet Services) and my welder/fabricator is helping me out with the swap!!!!

just got done tuning up my truck, NGK Wires/Iridium IV plugs, oil change and napa gold filter! I also threw another header collecter gasket on so it sounds/runs way better!!

Marlin and Sky orders should be here Friday or Monday then all I need is my IAC valve and teflon pads for my spring packs! getting real close now!!!

Got my chevy rear swap and rear shock mounts!!! Should be getting my Marlin order on Monday! the SAS is on for the 17th and 18th!!! Stay tuned folks, there are those who talk about doing something and those who DO what they talk about!!
