makin quick progress, looks good.

are you gonna make anything that covers the top of the tires? or mudflaps for it?

idk what your black bow looks like, but you could make an L shaped bracket that would put the hilift over one of teh tires maybe :dunno: not super far out, but enough to clear your cooler and black box

I will put mudflaps on it when I get a ticket for not having them. lol

DOing that with my setup would put the hilift too far out and too high. I may mout it between the tool box and cab.

Jud i think it may be time for a new build thread since there isnt much runner left
My Build 1986 4runner SAS 36s etc

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

Well I finished up the A/C today I just need to get it charged now. Does anybody know what you have to do to convert it to 134a?!?!

I finished the dash completely, hooked up a radio (temporary) and CB, put the fenders, hood, and grill on. I mounted the drivers seat (Old seats from the runner for now), put a lap belt from the back seat of the runner on the drivers seat, hooked up my rock lights, bled all the brakes and clutch, put my rear window in, reinstalled my power steering cooler, and a few other little things.

I went to put my headlights in and the plastic inserts on the radiator support that the long adjustment screws screw into fell apart. Does anybody know if I can get these in like the "HELP!" section at AutoZone?

Thanks.

Today I mounted the passenger seat and went to pick-n-pull and got the plastic inserts for my headlights. I washed it too, it looks ok. I'm gonna borrow a buffer and buff the paint out then it will be bling for sure.

Today I traded my busted ass Bart beedlocks for some 15x10 reversed steel wheels. They are chrome but some dude painted them black. So I stripped the black off and they look bling. I also buffed out the paint and it's pretty shiney. Tomarrow I'm going to paint the doors red and take 1.5" blocks out of the rear. I will take some pics tomarrow.

Yea I'm gonna try and do my best to keep it clean. I don't mind a little dent here and there. Hopefully it doesn't get hammered as fast as the runner did!
