We had a :pokinit: ton of fun this weekend! Saturday evening I flopped the runner then 10 min. later stripped out my lock rite. So yesterday morning I took out the 3rd and we welded it up, so now I have a welded lock rite! haha We wheeled all day and I got even more body damage... Last night we were going to the pile and I hitched a ride with my buddy Pete that never breaks. So since I jinxed him he broke both birfields. So I jumped in with another buddy and we broke both inners on his D44 front. So we just rock raced around in 2wd. We got to a point that we were trying to back up this ledge with the peddle to the floor. Well we got a little sideways and rolled off a pretty big drop straight onto a Tacoma that was parked! All 4 of us had our 4 point harnesses on and the rig is all tubed out so nobody got hurt. I will try and get pics of the roll.

here is the runner

Body damage

And heres a pic of the rig we rolled in.

do you have a DD or do you just not give two shits about your truck?

I went down the Trail-Gear yesterday and picked up soem stuff.

Some 1" wheels spacers to even out the width of my truck

Some 5.5" shackle plates, sliders, shock mounts, and spare FJ80 Tie-rod ends

I also got some 1.5" solid aluminum lift blocks from 4wheelparts to replace my 1" blocks in the rear. It leveled my truck out pretty nicely.

I worked on the rear shocks tonight and finally just triangulated them. No more bottoming out shocks! Whoo hoo!!! lol

Now I need to cut out my rear fenders so my tires can stuff way up into my wheel wells.

Heres just some poser shots from the other day.

My buddies got camera happy...

I consider Niagra my local trail. I'm up there at least one weekend a month.

I wheel with Jimbo, Pete, Tom Tom and all them.

Damn it's been a while.

Well the only hole I blew in the frame when I did the SAS cracked almost up the whole side of the frame so I ground it down and welded it up the plated it.

I also blew up my rearend pretty good. The pin in the carrier was in 3 pieces. The R&P were still golden. So I took a stock carrier out of an extra 3rd and welded the spider gears in it then slapped the ring gear on it and put it in the rear end. The holes for the carrier pin (in the broken one) were all ovalized and flared out so I had to torch the carrier in half to get the ring gear off it.
