i got the engine to turn over today! i have the wiring all figured out....i think. i was ready for a test start all i needed was some fuel, and then i relized i dont have plug wires . tomorrow i'll have to got to the salvage yard and find some.  that it will fire up first try. haha that never happens though

got it fired up . wouldnt idle though, it would just fire up run for a few seconds then die. may have to do with the fact that theres no down pipe and most the vacume lines arent hooked up. but it started. so stoked

yeah some vaccum lines could deffinately cause that!  but thats great you got it started!!  did you see the pics of my beadlocks?  they all got powdercoated and they look pretty good.

got my rod ends for my panhard. today. perry is letting me borrow his 18" air shocks for mock up. cant wait to get those

have a few updates. first, i finally got the air shocks from my friend. they are 2.5 18" travel air shocks. i guess the 2.5s are 3 inches longer than the 2.0 fully compressed. they where taller than my shock hoops at full bump. so im just gonna go with 16" 2.0 coilovers. my dad found a fuel tank out of a boat or somthing. its kinda perfect, i just have to weld a bung for the fuel supplie.
i also put the body back on. today i started the finall wiring of the engine. turned out pretty good, still have to wire up a bunch of relays for the electric fan, fuel pump, ign etc

heres my todo list before i can atleast make it to mini simp b-day run

~buy coilovers or air shocks for the front

~need orbital valve

~double sided ram and linkages

~finish wiring engine

~exhaust

~mount seats and maybe seat belts

~mount gas tank (im just gonna use the 22re gas tank i have for now)

~need to get some rims with more offset so the shocks arent going to contact the tires

~drive lines.....i think my old rear will fit as a front and my old front will work for the rear

i think thats it for now. ill still have stock rear suspension, but thats no big thing.

they are fox 2.5 18" travel air shocks. and ea they are massive

whats the price on those shocks?  i dont think i would need 18's though. probly 16's  the shaft on those looks huge!

he paid $550 from them, they where only used 4 mock up
