finally got my marlin bell housing i just threw the engine in for now. think im just going to use the factory engine bushings.

thought i would do a little up date since its been a while. not much work done since i havent worked more than 2 weeks in the last 3 months. started the engine wiring a little but cant do much more for now. built one of my front shock hoops but havent had money to buy more tube for the other side. just finished up sectioning my front grill. about 10 inches i think. also made the mounts for my fenders more solid and exact. just cut my hood down to fit the front end. i have a little more done to the hood but it was dark when i finished. thats really it for now. not having money blows

wow what a badass truck! im going to do something similar to the front of my frame, i hate the factory front crossmember and body mounts. without a beefy front spring hanger, one good whack on a rock and youd kill the frame.  im really interested in seeing how your front link setup comes out. links are the

I love this build.  I just started a 73 Ford Courier on a Toyota Chassis.  I would have done a Hilux, but the Courier came up for a good deal first.

the couriers and luvs are cool to. when i was looking for the truck to build i would just search for 75 and earlier hilux and luv pick ups. could do the courier cuz im a chevy guy. hilux was the first good deal i found

is that how low your radiator is going to sit? seems like it would get bashed on a rock. skidplate?

tore my body back off yesterday(by my self with no cherry picker) so now i can start finish welding and gusseting everything. pulled my front axle apart to start welding it. decided to shave the diff. when i pulled my birf out on my pass thats all that came out. the clip holding the inner to the outter isnt working. then i pulled the other side out and the birf and housing were all gouged. i just finished shaving it. now im just waiting for paint to dry.
