Hey Chris, try some polishing compound or rubbing compound. They have a slight abrasive in them that cuts through the oxidation or helps to clean up the scratches. The polishing is less aggressive and the rubbiing really gets after it. It's not too expensive either. Use these then do a good wax and you'll be in good shape.

Hey LB I just got me a little dd and the paint was rough but I used "flitz" from true value and it brought it back alot better than it was and it was only like 4 bucks then I waxed it with meguires cleaner wax and it looks great, just something cheap to try.

just got a call from Chris, looks like the 6 lugs on the other rotor sheared off on him on the way to the con tonight.  they are getting it back together right now.

Wow, that sucks. He is the third person (well 4th if you count both sides of his D44) in less than a month that I know that this has happened to on a Dana 44.

DAMN!!!! sounds like i'd be going over that whole axle.... both sides the lugs sheared.... i'd be worried about the whole axle being "in-check"

Yeah i was down in Vallejo today and my friend texted me that. I just laughed.

Just to let you know, there are more reasons then me just getting trucks and selling them as quick as i do. So yeah youre making a joke but i took it serious because Id rather have that truck over the one I own now, by FAR. The reasons for me getting rid of it were to get ouyt of debt and with the truck i have now, it heloed a lot.

Heres some pics from the 4th on the con. If you guys cant tell I totally redid the bumper that came with it, I think it came out pretty damn good. I like it. Im going to add a cross bar in between the stinger also.
