Bigbs budget beater 83'

Well I thought I would put this on the site since I finnaly can resize pics. It is an 83 long bed that I got for $200 and so it begins

after a little cleaning on the motor

After the strip down and some new seats I had, the fun begins

First thing was to fab up some sliders

Got my a pillers bent

[BigBs84]

got the front cut for the dove

[BigBs84]

Built some 63"s removed the overloads and added a leaf out of a 56" pack and made a torque leaf to help with axle wrap

some more done

and last night I ripped the cage off to get the finnal welding done

Then I primed it

1 more of the primed cage

And back in its place for some more fab work

keepin the first gens a live is tough... i think that exo should do the trick!

My computer guy installed a program that works with XP

nice looking truck you got there. exo looks good, nice and tight. you have anybasic plans for the truck, or are you just gonna wing it? and what color is the exo gonna be when your done?

Thanks man. Yea my plans are inboard 63"s in the rear, and rears up front, dual cases and 529's probly welded in the rear and a lockrite that I already have will go up front. Oh and I 'm still unsure on the colors

Well I got my cases together last night MC07-10 I think its #165 I won it last year at a poker run. also I started on the back and it is going to be a four seater for my son  on with the pics

$200 for the truck  can't beat that.

  Yes there is alot of fab work going on  1 minute it feels like I'm close and the next it feels like it will never be done' but its getting there and I am happy the way it is coming out. I got a few things done on it this weekend but nothing worth a pic. Thanks for looking

I'm slowly learning my watch is faster than my mouth...................... I felt like I'd never see the end in my project, but its comin around the corner.  Hang in there, looks really good! 

Thanks man I do have a wheeler to still go play but this thing is going to be fun when it is done I played around with inboarding the springs 5" last night wow this thing is going to flex like mad cant wait
