Ha Ha I got a funny story, So my wife and I are in Fort Bragg on our honeymoon. We got tattoos yesterday and the guy that gave them to us wanted to see them today. So we went to the tattoo parlor, he looked at them and then wanted to see if we wanted to smoke with him. So we went downstairs and while we were standing there a army green 97 toyota tacoma on 37s drives by. I was like, dude thats Chris' old yota! weird huh

Well yesterday I got my factory IAC Valve (Idle Air Control) in. Truck now idles at 750rpm vs 1750 like it was before. That stupid little part costs $196... and thats trough a shop. Would have been $280 my cost..

Yesterday I also ordered a factory o2 sensor. Should be in today. That stupid thing costs $221. It only would have been $180 for an after market but $40 more and I have a legit OEM one. I cant even imagine what the cost for that o2 woulda been if I didnt buy it through a shop.

So there goes $420 on two stupid parts... Lame.

Damn bro thats weak, theres 2 3rz motors sitting at pick n pull you ould of probably got those parts off em for 20 bucks.

is it pretty narrow? I have been looking at the toyotas that are built around here and they are all skinny, I am thinkin that out here in fort bragg they dont belive in wide. The ones I have looked at are stock yota width not even a ifs rear end, and no backspace. And are all sky jacked with small tires, I think the biggest i have seen is 37s and that was on your old truck. And most of them look like they can clear a 42 easy! but they have 35s on...  :dunno:

btw, was that clam chowder from TW's? I just got their clam chowder and it was effin good!

Yea by in/by the lobby.  Hmmm, maybe they dont any more.  I know theyre under new owners, but before they would.  I took all kinds of sensors of a toy v6 they had sittin there the guy never said anything so i figured they didnt care.  Anything to make a buck.

Haha ya dude i noticed the same thing. also if you look none of them have front drive lines.

The T100 I saw was pretty sick though... No front driveline but still looked pretty cool. it had fullwidths

My truck isnt too narrow, its a waggy and 8.4 axles on it which are both 60 and 60.5. Same with my old one, same width. They dont have very backspaced wheels on their trucks though so thats probably why they look so narrow.

And yeah that clam chowder was from TW's and yeah it was pretty good. AJ ordered it and i only had a few bites but ya it was good.

Nah last time i was in there they didnt allow it. The only one I coulda taken when was the IAC, the air fuel ratio thing is off 02+ I guess.

Also today I got a lot of work done...

Got everything prepped for the body lift tomorrow. Bumper and sliders are cut out. Rear shock mounts are cut off and welded in new position, still need to finish welding. Got the front inner fenders cut out and ready for when the body lift is dropped for it to go up through there. Got my new BLINGIN stock rear tail lights in, got my sub back in.

Tomorrows agenda....

Take out body lift, fix pass and driver seat belts.

Sundays agenda...

Lower suspension and flex out :D

MUCH better! Make sure to get some ground-to-frame height measurements. My truck sits at 24.5" ground-to-frame and I want it lower.
