is it the same engine that was in the other tacoo?

Nope...

This is a 2.7L 3rz

the other was a 3.4L 5vz

I miss the power of the 3.4 for sure, this thing is kind of a turd compared to it. Still has way more power then a 22re but nothing like my 3.4 was.

Newer, got 2K cash and I didnt want to deal with the CHP inspection on the other truck. I didnt have a title beacuse i was in the process of acquiring a salvage title and i didnt want to deal with it anymore...

THis truck is salvaged but I dont care because i have a title and i got 2K, and i also got a newer truck. I dont really carea bout power cause im getting about 17 in town vs 15 and getting 22 on the freeway vs 17

Well yesterday I got my factory IAC Valve (Idle Air Control) in. Truck now idles at 750rpm vs 1750 like it was before. That stupid little part costs $196... and thats trough a shop. Would have been $280 my cost..

Yesterday I also ordered a factory o2 sensor. Should be in today. That stupid thing costs $221. It only would have been $180 for an after market but $40 more and I have a legit OEM one. I cant even imagine what the cost for that o2 woulda been if I didnt buy it through a shop.

So there goes $420 on two stupid parts... Lame.
