depends on where you put your steering box, put it as far forward as possible as well, if you get the TG mount kit cut off about 2" and bump it to your body mount

well, im getting my buddies homemade winch mount bumper, he rolled and scrapped the truck, it is fully welded to the frame though......... so i gotta get creative.......

well i was using 4 low, (the front case in low, rear case in 4 hi) then all of a sudden there was a pop and what sounded to be gears stripping out, i tried to get my front case to work but no go, so i had to limp home using my 4.7 case, all the while i heard what sounded like a can of marbles being shakin up

Sounds like what happened to mine. A bearing blew and then trying to limp off the road it broke the input shaft. Hope its not that bad but sounds like the same thing that happened to me...

the sound i think was coming from the front case, and it would get really bad everytime i tried to put it in low with that case

dang that's bogus. hopefully you just have to replace a bearing and not your whole gear set.
