Killer rig the wider stance is bad a$$ , have you broke a rear axle yet with the spool?

no i havent broken a rear axle, is it pretty common? i know a guy on the board who is runnin 33's on a runner and no locker and broke one. I have a spare shaft just in case

I was just wondering bc I'm going with the spool in the rear with dual's & 38.5.

I have wheeled with 40's, 37, 35 etc. and never broken a rear toyota shaft.  All of them have been locked up and I've wheeled in the rocks snow, mud and everything in between.  The only thing I've broken is a rear locker (lock rite) and a lot of front axles until I went to 30 spline longfields.

Hey Thomas, you think I can tuck 39.5s with just a 4in Marlin kit?

I know ill have to trim my fenders and what not... as well as BFH the firewall. lol

ill match the lift in the rear as well.

are you runnin any body lift? i would do the RUF's with a shackle lift up front, all you would need is some shackles since you would re use your rears, plus you would advance the axle forward, and keep those tires off your cab, you will have to add and subtract leaves to your liking, or you coul buy 4" marlin rears for the front and rear to get the axle forward, if your gonna run 39.5's you need that axle forward.... you could also re drill your spring perches to cheat another 1" or so

no body lift.

I could run a 2in BL though easily.
the marlin springs move the axle forward already. so I think I am good on that.

but 39.5s will work on 4-5in lift and some firewall pounding and fender trimming?

i think it will be a close fit, id go with the 2" bl too

the top trans bolts are another one!

and not have the AC pump in helps getting to the Starter, Oil Filter and Fuel Filter.

i found out a new trick on getting to those.... through the shifter holes in the floorboard!

SO FREAKING EASY AND ITS STRAIGHT ON TO THE BOLTS!

use extensions and you can SIT in your seats and undo them with ease.
