no muffler :dunno:

why would u want the loudest muffler? that sounds really annoying. If you are just trying to look/sound cool I would go for something that is chrome plated...

OR you meant to ask, "What is the best performance muffler that sounds good?"

what did  you find when you used the search function? anything good?

a two chambered flowmaster makes a good sound at idle and it gets pretty loud under acceleration, at lease it does on the 4cyl.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Maybe not the loudest (is this 6th grade?  :shake: ) but a really nice sound...Dynomax SS Ultraflo.

for everyday use.

:yesnod:  I had a 4 into 1 header and a short glasspack on my 80 and it was LOUD!  Like no uncomfortable small talk loud :haha:  I'll be running a magnaflow when it's all back together this time though.

I like magnaflow personally. Nice low tone at idle.

I have used Cherry Bombs on every replacement I've done on any vehicle I've owned as long as you are running a cat. They are loud by themselves

Just a few I've run them on,

86 4Runner auto w/turbo
84 pickup
85 pickup
75 Dodge Van
73 Dodge motorhome

I got the shorty on the trucks and the longest they made for the van and the motorhome.

loudest exhaust ive run was a thorley header with about 1 foot of pipe and a 2.5" flowmaster with nothing behind it, like scaring little kids loud.  flopp that though, anyone that actually drives there truck and has a brain knows that the loudest exhaust really isnt cool at all

My setup had a nice low tone at idle, but it was good for setting off alarms when driving through parking lots :haha:  If one chirped I'd back up and blip the throttle real quick.

i have a flowmaster (forget which model) but it sounds pretty nice. not super loud, it has a good tone. my only complaint is that it reverberates more than i would like when i am at higher rpms, but that is mostly from cutting it shorter than it came

Your not going to like that loud exhaust in your 4Runner, it's going to get loud inside cause of the shell & lack of insulation  :twocents:
