OK I've been playing for a while now off and on at friends house and this is one of the most addicting games I've ever played!  Just want to know who all here plays and what is some of the songs and difficulty that you can play them at.  Youtube links are welcome and all opinions count.

I can play Strutter and woman at 100% on medium (guitar heroes II)... not that impressive but i'm getting there  :disturbed:

I suck at it but Co-Pilot can play Free Bird (the toughest one) at 97%. This is Guitar Heroes II, he's getting Guitar Heroes III for X-Mas and a new guitar.

I was hooked at Wally-World playing the demo (I don't even know if I was playing but it was fun). I got this for my kids for  :santa:, it's still under the tree. I'll post up after  :santa:

because you don't have to move your hand, there are only 5 "notes" and the pick thingy.  I haven't played it, but everyone says its the greatest thing ever since, like....PONG.

The game was never ment to make you a real guitar player, i mean lets face it buy a 3-400 dollar guitar and find out you dont like it, can't do it and give up? Or if you just so happen to have that $350 xbox360 or $499 PS3 or PS2 laying around you can pay 90 bucks for a guitar and a game.  This way your always being challenged at a level that isn't over wellming, you get to listin to good music and it's pretty competitive when your setting around drunk with your homies. :)

I'm going right now actually to go play and get drunk with alan.  So as red would say "see yall later" have a merry christmas!!

red

haha got my statement right  . guitar hero is never supposed to replace playing a guitar, its just a game and only meant to be that, just to have fun lol.

Since I got Co-Pilot III and a wireless guitar he talked me into playing with him, I think I'm getting better but I keep trying to actually play the guitar. That's the hardest part for someone that can actually play a guitar, granted I haven't played in years but I still try even on this stupid game which screws me up on the game when I know some of the old chords of the songs that this game has. He plays lead and I'm playin' bass, I want a solo or I'm out of the band.

Chicks in a band were always bad gris-gris. Somebody always ended up getting "involved" and screwing things up.

Unless it was an all chick band, but then someone's always in a bad mood in those bands.

No, when in herds...those things sync up. You'd just have one huge cramp and bloat party.

in my opinon playing both real guitar and the GH   i think guitar hero is a bit more fun, even though i love both.

I'm not too bad at GH for really playing it for the first time. It is pretty fun. I'm stuck playing in the easy section right now but my daughter is playing the medium & bet Slash in a battle! Then she got to do an encore & play G n R "Welcome to the Jungle". I told her she better play it right cause it's one of my favorites  :rockingout:

RS my buddie alan plays guitar and guitar heroes and uses a pick for both. Give that a try if you still got one.

Oh and my gf was pretty happy about getting a guitar for Christmas but accused me of buying it so i can play more over at her house. I said "no way yo!" and ripped out a 92% on strutter (kiss) hard difficulty :)

I dont know if we ever broke up to tell you the truth dan, but that's besides the point here!!! Play guitar heroes!!

*FFC*

Didn't have time to read the whole thread, but yes, we got hooked on Guitar Hero, started the career on II, got through all easy's and mediums... was forced to do the hard ones, I got through about 6 songs before we had to give my cousin his game back.  Now we got the game for christmas, just don't have the controller
