I also started on my half doors.... it was too damn warm in the truck this weekend but yet i still like having the protection of having the doors... so here is what I have done so far... I will be capping off where I cut and adding a couple beer holders as well....




I am gonna head to the wrecking yard and see if I can find a door missing the glass to get for cheap for the passenger side.... then I will get them capped off and sent up to my buddy to paint orange to match the truck! I cant wait to wheel with these on its gonna be sick!

well its time for some longs!!! went wheelin today on a local rock garden and gernaded a birf..... got a weak ding in the bed too but thats cool! got it bound up in some rocks and turned too far and pop! its all good i still wheeled the rest of the trail in 3wd anyway... well actually 2wd but i had the 3rd wheel if needed but that birf was making some lovely noises....

ya I have a couple buddies who have tried the birf eliminator as well and had plenty of issues with breakage as well.... I am just gonna save up the money and get some 30 spline longs its well worth the extra coin.... I am gonna go clean the truck up and start tearing it apart here in a few.... I have some other things that need done in the front end as well so its good timing.... oh ya and I am pretty sure the broken birf took out my marlin HD inner axle seal too which is hella gay

yeah i am gonna go take mine apart hear in a few min too.  i gotta get that broken axle out so i can ship it back to Randy's R+P and get a new one.  we have an event coming up in july and i am a trail leader so i gotta get it fixed!

well the birf and inner are toast.... the inner is prolly f-ed from me finishing out the day wheelin and it took out the inner marlin HD seal too.... so ya I am saving and selling :pokinit: as we speak to order up some 30 spline longs!!!

are you gonna try to clean up inside the housing at all? or is there anything you can do to clean it up? i have a housing that looks torn up very similar to how yours is after you ran with a bad birf in it...

well I finally got a new inner and birf installed after grinding the hell out of my axle housing to get a seal back in there! I just put a stocker back in till I can afford some longs...I prolly wont be up there for the 4th cause I am saving up to go over to central oregon and hit up some wheelin over there! I have a bunch of buddies in some nice rigs goin up for the 4th though... If something comes up and I come across some cash I might take it up but I highly doubt that happening.... were planning to hit up everything in central oregon the weekend of july 24th-26th you guys should roll too!

yeah i mainly just wanna go to hit groundhog its cool cause you camp less than like 30 yards from the playgrounds so if you break you just leave it and walk back to camp and crack a beer  :laugh:

ya same :pokinit: I am drunk! and ya thats the same reason I want to hit groundhog too cause my trans is fucked and doesnt like the gravel roads at browns.... the swartz is the same way though and about as nasty as the hammers!

digging the truck.  and hey, that´s a good way to clearence the housing for the longs
4runner body on a hilux frame = Hi-Runner.
2,4 dti duals 2,28 x 2,28 to 8" 5.71 with arb´s  and 39,5" trxus
gathering parts for my goal which is
350 Chevy 700r4 auto to 2.28 x 4.70  and 4.88 9,5" cruisers diffs,diamondaxles and cable lockers, 44" richard cepecs
