ya its called groundhog rock crawl pit... its in the backside of east fort rock OHV area! and ya its hella tight there man and well worth the drive... the pictures really do it NO justice... its sooo much nastier than it looks in the pics but way fun... I really cant wait to go back in the summer time when its a little warmer and not snowing like crazy... the pit is at 5000 FT so it was nice and chilly up there... we are going over there for memorial weekend next year for sure.... anyone planning on going up to browns this weekend? they say the weather is supposed to be sunny and 70 so I was thinking about heading to browns for a day trip and run can opener and the waterfalls and maybe some other trails in that area...

I think were gonna head up there saturday morning and run can opener, waterfall, rocky uphill and anything else in that area that is cool.... I want to camp but not sure if I will be able to yet... if we do camp then we will prolly run crushers, airplane hill and all that stuff on sunday... I doubt I will be able to camp though as I have some things I have to do back in town on sunday... but ya I need to tighten some bolts on the rig up and add some gear oil to the diffs and I would like to take the passenger side long out and re-grease it as its prolly a soup mess in there from all the gear oil leaking past the gay TG axle seal... other than that my rig is ready to wheel!

i would say where i live (albany) is about 4 maybe 5 hours from cal border towing... browns is 2 hours from my house and groundhog (the pics above) would actually be closer for you to drive to cause you miss a few passes coming that way and its a nice drive up to man!

ya its pretty cool up here.... ya the tacoma would do good up at browns... there are TONS of trails in a well marked system with everything from easy "green" trails to hard "3x black diamond"... its all marked just like ski/snowboard areas... you could wheel all weekend and never hit the same trail twice!
