new poll...

post what you picked and reasons if you dont mind... thanks

DUALS.  I figure you might as well get the driveline work outta the way now.  Not to mention the gear selection you will have with stock duals.  After all, it isn't that hard to pop out the rear case and clearance it for the 4.7s.  I'm sure it would help with your front driveline binding as well.

skipnrocks

seems like you would be better off with duals now and putting in gears later.  That way you have more gearing options.  JMO.

OFRD_GRL – as much as i appreciate strip clubs, i could never date a chic. they are all flopin crazy.

Hyena

better front driveline angle with duals!

Doof

cant edit the poll but duals will be before case gears now....just a matter of time... im hopping that next week i can get my rear lift blocks cut and lower my pregnant dog a few inches. that would make me super stoked and want to work on it and get it close to being as done as it can be for now.

hey chris what was the dual t-case skid plate you had?
it was pretty damn BEEF

skipnrocks

Did you ever find out for sure what caused you d-shaft to bind?  Does your pinion angle need to be changed a little bit?

sky manufacturing

i like it since you can mount it either above or below the plate and even get spacers to lift it up even more.

just the :pokinit: for saken angle on the DL. when its lower it will be a lot better. i wish i could run a HP up front, but dont have the funds to buy anything like that right now. i also got the leak fixed. the flange but came unscrewed and was spewing gear oil all over. so i took that off, put it back on tight, hit the lil notch thing down in the groove on the bolt to keep it from spinning and filled it back up with 1.5 quarts of g.o. i just need to get in there and pressure wash it all clean so i know if its leaking again or not. i thought i cracked the t-case but turned out it was the loose flange...

If you are just buying an adapter and using stock cases then 21 spline.  You can get a 23 spline adapter and 23 spline 4.70 gears and run them in the rear.

cool thanks rick... yea two stockers for the time being

skipnrocks

Do the duals only come in a 23 spline?  Or can the adapter be altered to accept 23 later?   Sounds kinda crappy if you buy an adapter and then have to buy gears and then replace the adapter again.

get the MC-07 23 spline, and get the 23 spline turbo input shaft.
then you wont have to upgrade your adaptor later when you go 23 spline 4.7s
