tires too.
i got my bfg's through The Tire Rack.
Rolled up.
Threw money at them.
They threw my tires in the back.
And i was on my way.
Summit Does the same thing, but they only had 2 tires in stock, and i didnt wanna wait.
Waiting for your new badass tires sucks.

yeah waiting is no fun...esucially when the rubbers are sitting and waiting for the steel...

when i get them im planning on putting in the aresoft BB's as a balance instead of the lead weights... sounds like a good idea and i want to hear the cool noise

u could try Dyna Beads...thats what I use, smooth as glass, no noise, semi-truckers use them. Personally, Im a fan of less noise the better from under my rig...
http://www.innovativebalancing.com/index.html

"No need to mess around with "balance patches", which are only accurate at the time of installation and a pain to install.
Wheel weights, regardless of type, are inefficient for balancing these tires, due to the distance from the outside of the tire to the rim, not to mention how it looks to have 3 lbs of wheel weights hanging on your rim.
These aggressive, oversize tires change their balance requirements quickly throughout their life, making static balancing solutions like wheel weights and balance patches ineffective.
Mud and snow collection can quickly affect wheel balance. Dyna Beads® will quickly move to rebalance this temporary condition.
Dyna Beads® are the ideal balancing compound for your tires. Easy to install, extremely efficient, won't rust, perfectly round, solid ceramic, and always working to balance your tires every time you drive. If your tire slips on the rim, the beads will adjust and compensate automatically. "

BigMike's thread is pretty good, but I'm still a little confused on the application.  There seems to be a few different theories on how much to add/standard amounts/balancing....people still butt heads on that aspect.

I like them so far..they draw little to no amps, which is good for rock lights...you can leave them on for like days without running your battery down...cool for accent lights too ya know... a little bling..

I would NOT recommend red though for visibilty reasons...I have the white ones..they aren't all that bright but bright enough I suppose. I can imagine red would be pretty dim. I am only running 4 lights now...planning to add 4 more. Sorry if it seems like i am jacking your thread..just trying to help

the red and white lights are the brightest according to the site. red will look cool.

and DTB... you have fuses? or how do have it all wired up?
I am running these thru a rocker switch (lower left side) in the dash hooked up to the cig lighter with an inline fuse.

this weekend i want to sand it down and rattlecan it flat black. just use the air sander at work.(doubt it will happen this weekend but its a goal)

I have been running these LEDs from Superbright for almost two years now with no problems :

I have 6 under the rig and two of these up front:

I left them on for two days and the optima red top had no problems starting it up.  :yesnod: I also ran my wiring similar to DTB with a simple rocker switch on the dash and a single in-line fuse. :twocents:

im gunna run mine to a bum switch that is connected to nothing under my dash...its from the previous owner, i thikn they were for HELLA lights or some :pokinit:, cause there are wires to nothing up front and a flip switch with nothing wired to it

edit:

got my lights today and they are a lot smaller then i thought they were. i can fit about 5 of the light housing parts in my hand in a line.... but thats my update for today

time to go finish up chopping the DL so after work friday i can weld it all up

so i have a good update, i got my new rubbers and they weight a :pokinit: ton, but its all good. in the next week or two im gunna put in the airsoft BB's instead of using the wheel weights since they take up half of my rim.

also lil buddy tested one of my rock lights and they will work out great. i also bought a CB today and tomorrow i will be picking up an intena. tomorrow morning i will drive my :pokinit: how it is to work to cut and make the rear spring mount so i can weld it on. get home and do the rear swap if i have time. then maybe sunday get some little things tied up and rocking. i also have to cut the :pokinit: out of my fenders which im looking forward to. and im sick of the poser :pokinit: also, i want to take this pregnant dog wheelin and have the front springs settle. cause right now its high and stiff as flopp which is no bueno. with the rear lift done and 37s all around its gunna be high as a kite and top heavy. which anybody knows is no bueno. so im done talking about my :pokinit: for now. tomorrow at work ill take pics in the morning sunlight. i was gunna get my DL done at work tomorrow also, but that is on hold till i get the rear lifted and tired taken care of. DL is important but not that important to where i cant drive without it. anyways PEACE EASY!!!
