got the rest of the cuts and shavings dround down, and then hit it with the 60 grit flap wheel, and painted it all black....hanger also....it looks good, much better now there is no bare metal...hopefully weds i can get the square tube for front DL and get that welded up and back on, and then get the tires on and test drive it to work and grease all 20 zerts :-), and then next weekend when i get my new tires i can put em on and go for a lil test run at high lakes for a few hours

tomorrow ill be welding on the steering stabalizer and then this weekend ill be makng the front DL out of square tubing and hopefully will get the steering box moved foward....might move the axle forward might not...depends on how it looks and flexes with the 37's

will i need to do any trimming to the fenders?  looks like i might have to but not sure since i havent done anything like this before

edit:

o yeah forgot to give the update: got the brakes mounted and plumbed....put the 33s on it and it has a gangsta lean to the rear. ill take a pic of it at work tomorrow when i drive it there to weld the steering stabalizer on.....  ill also be getting some 3" square tubing and then chopping it in half and welding that on after i drill holes to get the rear springs on and mounted....kinda stoked on it

Youll probably have to bash the front lip on the front fender in (like I did on mine) the 5inch is pretty big (kyle has the 4inch and 2" body and it settled and he rubs a little I think... The rear youll have to beat it like I did before I cut my fenders guaranteed....

I bet you wont need to move the box forward right yet. Kyle didnt on his truck and his does not rub under full compression or anything. Oh and I am NOT sayign to not move it forward, I would eventually but if you run outta time this weekend you can always do it later

so i took her for the maiden voyage today...had a little steering wobble at first and then it went away...next my brakes had absolutly 0 pressure. had to pump it a few times flying down my street going 50 before i smashed into the person in front of me...kinda heart thumping moment...next went to my dads to torque down the wheel spacers and found out i cross threaded about 8 of the 12 lugs. so i took the spacers off...and on my way home there was a sound that was coming from the driver tire/. it souned like dry bearings and then it turned into a fast click. idk what it was, but by the time i got home the sound was gone. so idk what that means...other then that it rides nice and is smooth. i dont have any gangster lean taking corners, but that could change when the springs get used a little bit. idk

plans for tomorrow are to build the front DL and hopefully get the rear suspension ready to swap....hope all goes good. ill take pics tomorrow

o i was riding dirty on my worn ass 33's, i felt like a f*g but o well, my :pokinit: is sas'd and the new tires should be in this weekend

those  :censored:  :moon: 's at the tire shop told me two weeks. so yesterday was two weeks to pick em up. so i called ahead just to make sure they had em ready. i then wait for the guy to look up the account and he tells me "it looks like the wheels havent even been made yet..." and that just pissed me off to no end. for how much i paid and waiting two weeks on top of it and they still havent been MADE. so im going in tomorrow after work and im gunna tell them o so politly that if they arent here by thursday im taking my business elsewhere and will never refer a person to their company for the rest of my life.

so as for the flex pics i dont have any yet. im waiting on my 37s. i still need to weld on shock hoops and weld the steering stab. to the axle and connect it to the drag link. then tomorrow after work im going to start on my DL. that should take a few days of working on it after work. im also going to order some LED's tomorrow or later today.
