got this 86 runner with a mild 3" lift. other then that it was dog tired and stock as can be. its gone under the knife a few times so far but is far from complete and wont be the last time it gets cut into. there is a good amount of build through this thread. one of these days ill go through and clean it up or make a new thread featuring the build and transformation its gone under. anyways if you have questions post up or PM me

i plan on doing the sas here in the next week o so...as soon as i get the rotors from marlin crawler

those and my shocks are on back order, but i can do without the shocks for now. if i get everything on and what not then i can mount the springs later when they get here. but i need the rotors so i can put my axle together...once i get axle shafts

i have a little story about that and pics to go along with....its a pretty  deal and i was pretty mad when lil buddy and out buddy chris helped pull it apart

but for now that story can wait till tomorrow when i get off work

AJ youre going to want to run 5.29s with 36 or 37s.... unless you plan on getting duals soon. 4.88s are cool but that extra .41 gear ratio is going to help a lot till you get duals, especially doin some snow runs.

if i get paid for my 60.2 hours of work these last two weeks in between school then i should get a pretty nice check...and about 3 of those and i will be able to buy a lot of for this and get it sitting way pretty for snow

but i still need my hunting license and bindings for my shread stick since i drilled hole in my old plates for a wider stance and now they are shiz and shiffty of me

Revolver shackles are unsprung weight. Meaning, ya it will give you more travel but its not going to help you get traction. Waste of money... Otherwise, cool build!

so i just got off work from gong in at five....today im going to clean and paint my axle housing as well as the knuckles.....mybe start putting it together

this last sat i took the wire wheel to the houseing and got it all cleaned up and got it painted. its looking pretty good

im thinking of waiting till i get my next check and forking up the money for bobby long axles.....depending on how much i have i might thrown down for the 30, but im looking at 27 chromo : http://longfieldsuperaxles.com/

but this next week ill be putting the axle together and hopefully get the SAS this weekend and just run the axle empty and open till i get what i need

Yeah thats what I have been trying to tell him and the other people in the thread but of course I dont know . Whats the point of having gears and strong ass axles when you have bald ass tires that you wont even get traction and wouldnt need them right away (or at all till next season)

that little poo pile reminds me of P/D. and forget what lill buddy says he dont know .. take my advice. go to pep-gay and get some street glow, a cobra shifter knob, exhaust caps, a sick ass amp/sub kit called the SLX or some with an rms of probably 60 watts, maybe pick up a sick valve cover (ull go faster), and if u still have money get them little light up valve stem caps.. its cool man were bringin it back.

so im gunna buy tires when i get back from the con with buddy.....yea were leaving in about an hour so and were gunna freeze our  off but it shall be fun and wet and miserable.... anyways i was gunna build the axle this weekend but its not happening.....

got back from the con today around 330 came home and did more axle work

i cut off the stupid  off and ground it all down flush...its to cold outside to spray it black so that will be done when i get off work tomorrow. and on tuesday after school i will start putting it together with the help of lil buddy and we can get this this some better pics and on the way to being put on the runner
