OldYellerCJ's injury today
« on: Sep 23, 2007, 10:39:36 AM »
Long story short:
Dave was cutting off my Johnny Joint Shackle hangers with a battery grinder and cut-off wheel.
Grinder literally jumps out of his hands and flies 3 feet to his knee cap, slices it, then the grinder hits the ground running and never shut off. The grinder did not have a guard on it, but it hit his knee straight on so it wouldn't have helped anyway.

Trip to the emergency room, 7 stitches later:

You didn't even have a kung fu grip on it in the first pic  :screwy: No wonder the grinder bit you.

ok so i had a bad grip on the grinder  :shake:... and I dont think that pants would have helped  :dunno: and as carma rears her ugly head  :_oops: I just told MINI that I am like a surgen with the grinder  :flamer: and walaaa  :nerv: I went to see the surgen, well it hurt like hell to have the stiches put in since one shot wasnt enough and all but two were numb when he did them, he asked if I wanted more numb stuff and I told him to get it over with so I can go home and go back to work... :disturbed: the weird part is that the grinder didnt even shut off when it hit me the ground and spun across the concrete  :dunno:

For thge record it was MINIs grinder and HE took it off .....  and I should have put it back on I know..... but even with the guard it hit me top first so the guard would not have made a difference. so give me my point back  :disturbed:
