Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

If you look at the back of the dash there is a dash light on the far left that had 2 red wires running to it instead of being tied into the blue paper part of the wiring.  I had an extra dash so i cut this bulb out and spliced the check engine wire into it. Same thing can be done to a regular connector if you sand the back down and expose the two metal connectors and solder into them.  Im at work but can post pics later to show you what im talking about.

i prob wont have to fix the motor trany or replace the clutch (from what ive heard) for the next 5-10 years.  hopefully longer even.  only time will tell if i made the right decision.

I know know where i went wrong with this thread... nothing but problems with my motor after i posted that. haha.

Edit:
Okay here is the situation... due to high wind storms my base of opperations (the side yard) has become war torn.  The tarp that once gave me shelter has been defeated by mother nature...  In an attempt to rebuild what has been destroyed (baught a new tarp at lowes) i have discovered a new enemy has sought shelter in my ruins.  Wasps have invaded my once loved work space.  They were first spotted while attempting to rehang and rebuild my new tarp.

Update:  Today at 16:22 War was declared on these squatters.  I went to lowes and bought me an ally (or is he/she a mercenary since i paid for it)...

Update 2:  When i returned from lowes at approximately 16:35.53... Me and Raid approached the battlefield.

Only to find no one to fight, the pesky buggers were in hiding.  I yelled for my new enemy to show their faces but none answered to my call.  I retreated back to the fortress of solitude (inside my house) and awaited for their movements.  I peered through the port hole of safety...

as i attempted to gain knowledge of their where abouts.  I have spotted what appears to be a possible ambush/scout site in an old cardboard box.  When i went out to do battle, i approached with caution, i saw possibly two or three more building alternate basses of operation.  One appears to be another ambush/scout position in the folds of an old tarp directly opposite from the box, while there are possibly two more building secure bases to mount movements against me under the tile of the roof... i will be back when i have more insight on the matter.

Update #3:
There was an enormous battle...  After i hit the first on the fight was on.  I shot some down in the air, got another as it came from the tarp ambush position (he underestimated the amount of time it would take him to crawl out of the tarp), and i hit another as it sought refuge on my neighbors roof...

Ahh..... the sweet smell of defeat as i am victorious!

On a side note, the tarp i bought is too small and back to lowes i go...

Back on topic with the build thread.

That sucks man. Don't you hate how there always seems to be something to get in the way of getting the important stuff done like building your truck...

Not entirely sure Id want it to be fitting...Sheila is a moody forgetful tank who frequently breaks or just randomly freaks out and kills people...

But now that youv named it, its got expectations to live up to...

well here is the long awaited update(s)  :beerchug:

Sorry guys, on this day we were too busy to get a ton of pics.  We basically just kept prepping the harness for wrapping, all we had to do was check to make sure the cluster is working correctly.  Hit up Chipotle for some long awaited food.
