the messed up part, theyve got a COMPLETE 89 2wd EFI harness and ALL COMPONENTS sitting in a box somewhere. (although I will feel like a real arse if they end up swapping to that setup and end up in the same boat)

On a side note, at this point, I would have to question if the parts are the problem or would it it be installer error? maybe an ID ten T error? like as in ID10T

Well, in regards to the install error comment, I don't think so, believe there was a problem with the original 85 harness. And we would be in the same boat if we used the 89 harness and components being that we still need to join it to the 81's dash and components.

I feel like this is now TURBO's build instead of mine. lol
