No it's starting to run really s l o w ! ! "This page was created in 1.50 seconds" it usually is in the .35 second range for me.

i was trying to start wermz birfday thread. I had the cosgans smiley train code in it (the one that Racinkid ended up posting) but when I tried to get it to post it would go to that white 'page not found' page, tell me it timed out to try again, or tell me I didn't have permission to post to that board.
When I removed the cosgan's code I was able to start the thread with just the smiley in it.
I tried posting the cosgans train again but kept getting the same errors.

yesterday  i got several  pm's   sometime last night  my  messages  tab  stuck on 1 message,  even though i dont have any new messages

Not a bug  but it is driving me Buggy

The little marlin icon in the address box/tab  firefox   rolls over ever 2 sec.
when did this start  and can it be turn off  it freaks me out

Is anyone having problems with our shopping cart system right now? Maybe it's just this computer.......

It takes me straight to the fields to enter my personal and shipping info, instead of of showing me the contents of my cart.

I have not been receiving emails saying that I have a personal message, and I do have that option checked in my settings and my specified email is correct and current.

Hello

Apparently the history of the new Shout Box system got so large that it crashed the Shout Box Script and put such a large load on the server, that the server was "too busy" for the forum to even operate.

This problem is due to the fact that the new Shout Box system's history support is html driven instead of database driven like the previous system was.

Therefore, I am going to disable the Shout Box history for now until I can get it to behave as the old shout box's history system.

Since this new forum software is still under development by its publishers there might be a few bugs lurking around. So if you happen to notice something that is not working correctly, please post it here and I will see about fixing it.

because of the recent Spam attacks    you have to have  a predetermined amount of posts  before  you are allowed Pm's  or attachment of pics

you can still post in the forum  anywhere  and are encouraged to do so, sorry for any inconvenience

Hey guys,

I have been getting emails recently from new pending members who have not yet activated their account.

About two years ago we increased the new member security by requiring a valid email address in order to activate the new membership to the forum. However, I have recently received a couple of emails from people who are reporting that the "Activation Email" letter that the Forum automatically sends out to all new pending members are being sent out "Blank".

So I checked the pending new member list and there were 232 pending memberships ranging all the way back to March 2006.

I have removed many of the much older pending members and have sent out new Email Reminders for the more recent ones.

Then I just automatically activated all the members who have registered this month and I have sent out Notifications to inform those members that their membership was accepted.

I will keep an eye on the pending member lists and make sure that it does not build up like this again.

just a suggestion, but you might put this info where the inbox normally is... i just spent 30 mins trying to figure this out

I know you can get pretty busy Mike with school, work, wheeling, travelling to Japan, etc. etc. You should have a mod or admin keep an eye on that too.

An eye on what? I am the only person who 1) knows how to code SQL and 2) has access to the server/database. Basically, if there is any change like that, I need to be the one doing it.

I might look into this soon, but I have many other things to do with the Website before I can spend any more time on the forum.
