got another 85 runner. build coming soon!!

Ramrod

I dont think the fenders are any good but dont worry we just went and picked up the replacement and all I have to say is im jealous.  Its and 85 sr5 ALL option runner, white, rebuilt motor that blew a head gasket, 31" mts, blah blah, super super clean for $800.  I'll have pics later and some of me finally getting to flex since I put on my 35" tires

what does chris need? billy has a couple shortblocks with unknown histories that he would probably be willing to part with for cheap, oh and dont worry I already have a new home for the front axle for the truck thats getting parted out

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

yeah billy did that.  all he did was cut off the roof and remove the fenders and hood.  It still runs and drives and he is taking it to the hammers like that

yotas 4 life homie!

Ramrod

ok so its officially crunch time for the hammers which I will be leaving for on april 24th.  I have tons of stuff to do and its all coming up just in time for life to be getting really busy. I have a big bass tournament the weekend before that so i'll have to be practicing everyweekend and I am starting another class on fridays. Hmmm...
- Skidplate
- new rear springs
- trac bar
- figure out steering pump fluid problems
- clean up and gusset several sas parts
- figure out driveline vibe
- bed bob
- rock sliders
- front and rear bumpers
- new exhaust
- get seats mounted
- full tuneup
- change all fluids
- install my interior cage (maybe)
- tub firewall
- trim massive amounts from all fenders
- test, tune, tweak

hopefully thats it.  it is a ton and im not looking foward to it.  I think im just gonna take off all work the week before I go which is spring break so I can just focus on my truck and get it completely tightened up because I dont want to break 500miles from home.  Im also gonna have to do this while going to school full time and working full time and spending time with my great girlfriend and saving up enough to even go on the trip.  its gonna be rough but ill do it.  See you guys there!!!
