Your going to have to do the old RAMROD flat fender cut, that will look sic.

olivedrab85

PAT always go's big that why he's call RAMROD there's no little cut's involved.

olivedrab85

I stand corrected. Your absolutly right I've seen the RAMROD in action!  :driving:

Ramrod

13.5" wide

yeah i'll go big with the first cut but im gonna wait till I get those on to see what it needed first.  I got them through summit racing and it was the best deal for me without having to pick the tires up myself

Ramrod

just ordered up an inchworm adapter to run the gear drive cases behind my taco tranny.  It was $50 more than the marlin one but the options for -10* to 45* of clocking got me sold and I had never purchased anything from them so I thought i'd support them

Hyena

sweet.  inchworm stuff is pretty solid too, my addapter is still working great!

Ramrod

today I sent out my old 27spline longs to be exchanged for some 30 spliners

Here is what ive been working on all week--
Its a 63 nova that me and a couple of buddies are basically rebuilding and finishing for free another friend because we wouldnt let him sell it so were cleaning it up and getting it ready to pound some pavement.  What were doing:
building NEW 350 from ALL new parts, dart heads, vodoo cam, roller rockers, badass carb, NO LEAKS most importantly.  were also puting in a new shifter and all electric fuel system just so this thing is as driveable as can be.  already before we put in a new built up tranny and put an eaton posi with 3.73s

new shortblock

old longblock

why old motor needed to go--

already with the old motor with a stock cam this car has done a 13.9 1/4mile so with this new one it should be considerably faster

Ramrod

oops this is what the last pic is supposed to be--

Gittinit

Hug your kids, pray for a soldier, and don't sweat the small stuff.

– fortysixandtwo – sorry, i prefer marlin because aside from gittinit, no one is a know it all a hole

Ramrod

got a lot more done on the nova today so it should be done soon.  we want to have it done by christmas so we can wake him up doing a burnout in front of his house with a giant bow on the hood.  Its looking like it will be putting out well over 400 hp when its all together

Ramrod

so I didnt go huge with the first fender cut because I only took out what was needed for now to fit my 35s and the firewall is limiting any more fender interferance but not much at all.  heres a pic--

these rims have way to little backspacing(2" or less) so it looks kinda stupid but Im guessing its pretty stable

rednk1980

looks better with the 35's, you did a good job on the fender cutting.

Nice! My brother has a 4 door 62 Nova painted flat black with a set of Weld Super Singles that he just swapped a 350/turbo 350 into. It's a pretty sweet car

Tacoma is looking good! Can't wait to see it axle swapped  :gap:
