Heres a question.....
Youve posted a 109" wb. The stock wb is 103", where did you get the extra 6"?
3 front, 3 rear?

yep 3" front and rear but im going another inch in the front soon to get the tires out of the fire wall.

so I just got back from the tinbenders jamboree at the hammers.  i drove it there and back which was like a 12 hour drive each way and didnt break anything.  got 1 tiny scratch on sledghammer and that is it for body damage.  My truck wheeled great and was everything I could ever want from a toyota.  I could hit 65-70 through the whoops on the sandy roads and catch air all day long without flinching.  the tires did rub really bad in the front but it didnt hold the truck back at all.  overall the best wheeling trip ive ever been on.  RIP Dave, I only knew you for a short time but you were super cool and your truck was bad ass.

:o Did the wheel spacer break??

Hey, it was cool seeing ya out there. I just wanted to say that I am proud that you are keeping it clean :beerchug: It looks really good man :yesnod: So how does the 3RZ lug down when you wheel it compared to the 22R-E? I feel that its harder to stall the 3RZ, which can be credited to it's computer controlled air control valve.

no not wheel spacer breakage but just pure installer stupidity.  I had just put the tires on in a rush with an impact and I guess they werent on as tight as they should have been and im never doing that again. we were extremely lucky that it happened right there because there was not many open areas on that road and that was probably the only time when there wasnt anyone in the other lane where my tire passed me by in. I should say thanks to my friends brenden, jake and billy for pulling that tire out of the slough it went into for me because that was kinda hairy
Thanks bigmike im also very proud about keeping it this clean and im actually going to do a newer front end conversion and get some new paint on it sood.  To bad we didnt get to hang a little more but it was good to see you anyways.  I love the 3rz it is a complete blast everyway you look at it.  I only used a 1/4 tank of gas from victorville and back includeing all the wheeling, I could cruise at 85 on the freeway all day long without even trying and if I needed more speed for a jump quickly it was always there, I would highly recommend this motor to anyone out there considering a new motor.  Im running 14" bilstien 5125s all around and there great but they get extremely hot during long prerunning sesions.

yeah so my truck is still pretty much totally fagged off since I put in some shitty exxon gas on the way back from the hammers and it wont run for :pokinit: with less than a quarter tank and cuts out all the time anyways.  I dont know what to do but im gonna try out some lucas fuel system cleaner and a full tank of supreme.  any suggestions besides that?  Either way im going to go try and put that cage in right now after what happened to dave and all plus im tired of my damn bench seat

Hyena

thats a good idea.  i just ordered 4 point harness's and plan to finish off my cage soon.  i might do moonrocks friday and then head to the Con thru Tahoe saturday for memorial.  not sure yet.

Unfortunately with aluminum wheels, you have to tighten the lugs down, drive for a while then re-torque the lugs and you should be good to go after that. With steel wheels, you don't have to do that  8)

Off topic I know, but have the cops around town (sacramento area, right?) been giving you any trouble about the lack of tire coverage?

I actually just got pulled over for the first time yesterday but he didnt ticket me, just told me to get my :pokinit: together

Ramrod

i also put on another fan from a 22r because the one on my truck was shot and my truck runs like a champ again.  the problem with the truck dieing is that my tank is so dented in that the farthest the sender can go down reads 1/4 tank but its really empty
