i've been eyeing this build ever since ya got the new rig. cant wait till ya tear into it !!

Ramrod

Did a little toyota work today but not on my own project, just a little something to relax too because I havent really done anything like this in a while.  This is Yodawills little brother in law charlies truck.  It needed a bunch of front end work and I sold him my 37's and we mounted them up-

its got some good :pokinit::
37's
4.88s
30 splines
detroit front welded rear
rears up front chevies in rear
sweet sterio
cool bumper with winch
dual cases
flatbed
I dont know what else buts its coming along and should be about ready for anything now.

Here are my new street tires i got off of him- 35" baja claws

im gonna do a little trimming and a 2" body lift and put these on with how tall it is right now so I can make it to lilbuddys 2nd annual snow run

This build is going to be sweet, I like seeing builds when people don't half ass anything and have some $$$ to spend on some  :bling: parts

hey pat talk to drew, rockcrawlingtoy. he lives in oregon and could get you a set with no tax! i might go that route when i get my winch or tires in the future to. i just know he'll be down and wheeling on the 23rd. just a though but its getting kinda late.

sweet, iroks kicked ass in the snow this last weekend.  but it was a pretty gay weekend for us.  probably the worst weekend wheelin ever.  i towed a buddy up to the Con with all the pirates.  we got to walker hill and it was pure ice.  one Captain Chaos broke a 35 spline outer and hub on walker somehow.  then coming back out the slabs were pure ice and barely anyone was making it up.  no more snow trips to the Con lol.  buy a winch Pat.  they saved almost every truck up there.  i am thinkimng about getting one if i have the money.

Shamb

I highly recommend running those iroks with 2 psi for a day, just around your street to get the sidewalls broke in. You'll hate 'em on the trail strait out of the box.

get to work on nacho negro!

I know what you are talking about.  The 1st time out for me was like wheeling with all of the air pressures at 40psi.

Ramrod

tried to do a little poser flexing when i found a shot up honda abandoned at a spot i was scouting for ducks today and ended up ripping my front bumper most of the way off so tomorrow im gonna take it the rest of the way off and try to get my 35"s to clear so I can snow run this beast

Ramrod

that also means that as soon as possible im gonna be bending up a new bumper probably like the one kiyul4130's got with a little extra protection cuz I need it

Ramrod

oh and I just ordered my 4d's a couple minutes ago from summit racing so those should be here pretty soon

this is me a bit over 3 years ago. i cant tell you how many times ive wheeled alone, which was a long while back and have gotten stuck and my friends have either laughed at me or been mad for the inconvience it happens to many. this was when i first got into it. ive been wanting a winch for a very long time cause i wheel alone, but ive also learned a lot then since 3+ years ago. a winch is deffinetally on the list, just probably after hammers though. here is my first wheeling trip. haha these make me laugh every time. im gunna try and make my truck sit how it did with the 35s and ifs though over this winter break.

tj saying "its time for me to drive you home".

sorry for any type of highjack. cant wait to wheel with you in a few weeks pat.

a winch would be cool but im gonna be moving getting my own place in january and though it might not seem like it i am on a budget and that is definitly not gonna fit right now

CRS

Moving out is just a technicality of  life. Truck parts will always come first.  You got your priorities right. good luck on the build.

i couldnt do anything to my truck once i moved out. the only thing i did to my truck in 13 months was get a longfield set. it sucks once your out and you have no money to throw at your rig. then again i never have ive always been in debt at home or away. im getting back out of the parents house again in a couple weeks and hopefully for good. its going to interfere with my build by the time hammers comes around but i hope not TOOOOO bad.

my tires came yesterday but I havent got to take any pics of them yet but they are HUGE.  I think i might have to trim a little to make them fit :flamer:

Shamb

I thought 40's were huge once too..........  :headshake:

:hahaha:

honestly, since your running those diamond axles you'll probably have a ton of ground clearance.

post up!

Ramrod

yeah lots of clearance, and somewhat light weight.  those are the main reasons I went with the diamond

here ya go willybird---

I might have to give this one the ramrod special fender cut

a little bigger than the 35" bajaclaws--

much bigger than the 31 ats

bling bling

so I called front range to see when my axle is gonna ship out and it should be here around the start of the new year and they also told me that I hadnt been charged for anything I had ordered from them which I thought I had which means that my budget for this truck is way over blown and im gonna have to skimp out on the rear suspension and go with some chevys and make my own hangers and try and save some money

That really sucks. That is a lot of money that could have been used to make a killer suspension.
