Fork out some cash and do it right, go for some Marlin shock hoops or at least redo those ones and gusset them! :smack:

WHITE_TRASH

Yeh yeh I know those were only supposed to be on there for a couple of days.  But as we all know a couple days can turn into weeks easily.  Actually I need to talk to Mikey about getting some bent up custom.

Im still tinkering on it, have no fear.   I started the ifs hub swap last night and Im puting 4.10's in it instead of these poor 3.90's!  Its just too damned hot for my sorry ass to be in the shop.

Skinny_Pedal

whats involved in the ifs hub swap?

WHITE_TRASH

Oh yea youve got that stuff!  you just install your hubs (the bearing hubs not lockouts) in place of the solid axle ones and move the caliper to the other side of the mounting ears on the knuckle.  That gives you a 3" total width increase.

On the IFS hub swap.  I thought about this, but it seems like the axle wouldn't be long enough to get the clip on it.  Am I missing something here?

88runner

the hub is the same length, it's just the wheel mounting surface that is closer to the outside.

Ok I put my 33's on the truck to see if the death wobble was mainly the tires.  (Im pretty sure it is.)  The truck looks hella dumb, here ya go.

KYOTA

I think the only reason it looks a little funny is that you cut out the wheel wells

The only reason it looks dumb is because it's in Prosser and not Moses Lake.  I could come down on Saturday and pick it up.   :eyebrow:

WHITE_TRASH

Im tempted to let ya.  I made an attempt at driving it like that, BAD IDEA!!!  With the added offset of the ifs hubs and the fact that those are 8" wheels insetad of 7", madi it cmpletely and totaly underivable!!  I will not even try that stupid stunt till I have basically all new crap in the front.  I need some new springs that have some arch to them.  The shock hoops that are not so damned booty fabbed it makes me sick.  The shackle tubes are the wrong size for the yota bushings (no wonder I cant get rid of the death wobble :smack: ).  I basically need to start from a clean slate on the frontend and redo all the botty fab that took place in the cration of my sas.

want cheap shock mounts for the front. use the ford f-250 shock mounts  part #E5TZ-18183-A it only costs about 25 for the pair.

KYOTA

 Ya know, that just might work. I bet people will start doing this and it will revolutionize the sport.
