i went down to grab my truck and i started to crawl up there. i went in between a tight spot and a runner. i couldnt go forward or back without hitting this guys rig. it was pretty beat down but regardless....its someone elses ride and i didnt want to hit there truck. so i sat there for 10 minutes and then he showed up. he was pretty drunk and said go for it and keep driving but i told him i still didnt want to hit it. he got in his ride and we chatted for 15 minutes an when he said he was out i asked him what time it was. he said just about 1am. so i said screw it and left because the last thing i need to do was break, flop, god knows what at that time of night right before an 11hr drive home in the morning. thanks for the shirt.

Your tires have more tread than mine ever did so you can't complain about that :pokinit:. I still have a matching spare for that thing.

LOLOL!! (above comments) Those pics look like everyone had a good time. The flex that the Mitsu had was incredible. Good job on the design for that suspension.
1st gen yota truck. 37x12.5x15. 5spd dual cases, chevy springs in rear, toyota rears springs in front. Long bed....the list never ends..
Dont try to shift into 6th when u've only got a 5spd! Rubberside down doesnt always mean rite side up!

Well.. it may not be the "best" design, but there really isnt a "perfect" design out there, is there? "I like the way it works" works for me. LOL! I havent seen a Mitsu done up like that before so im impressed. I have seen a lot of different pickups being converted and built and i like the creativity. Keep it up.

i went to the rubicon with the standard group. it was a good trip. my truck got the straight smack down on this trip. i've had more body damage on this trip alone then any other. i couldnt believe it. it was just wet out and the tires would slide off rocks and next thing you know your cab/fenders/bed or whatever else would hit a rock. i broke the strap at the ujoint on the 14B down by the springs and had to weld the cap in there cause it was ready to fall out. that broke entirely going up big sluice so we fully welded the thing up to where im gunna need a torch to cut off the yoke to free up the joint. other than that the truck did good.

i was in the box for over an hour and just couldnt get to pivot rock. i was right at it but the tires were just sliding around everywhere so i backed out of it and on up to go to sleep. sluice box hero broke an output in there the next day so i decided not to attempt it again the next morning. next time its mine.....

the broken crossmember again for the 2nd time now. after its next fix it shouldnt break again.
