well my thread is pretty dead cause im waitin till this winter to seriously tear into her, and make her a beast master rockcrawling machine.  Its gonna be crazyyyy....anyways heres a pic of what showed up here last week!(looks upside down and weird but its all i got)

Nah, toss that impact in the garbage. Ingersol Rand :yesnod: looks like you got a nice rig. Make sure you post up when you start the winter projects.

A CH is a good starter impact.
However for the money IR's rock.
I have a IR 2135Ti. It's sexy and lightweight...

specs:
# 1000 ft.-lbs. of Nut Busting Torque™
# Lightweight and compact titanium design — only 3.95 lbs.
# Free speed 9500 RPM; 1250 BPM
# 625 ft.-lbs. forward; 700 ft.-lbs. reverse
# 5.0 CFM; 1/4in. inlet
# Through-handle exhaust; 360°swivel inlet
# Model 2135TI; U.S.A.

I work in a auto service center though so I need it.
Snap on and MAC impacts tend to require a hell of alot more air and the IR's can still operate on minimal air output.

thanks for the info shad, ill be sure to look more next time i am buyin air tools.

well, not a whole lot has been going on with the truck lately.  i am getting a garage for the winter and slowly gathering parts so that i can continue the build within the next few months.  a good friend of mine got a tube bender  and notcher so i ca build my own stuff.  this winter im tubbing the fenders, putting on a tube front bumper, and tube fender bars, bobbing the bed, which sucks cause its a flatbed and i have to bob it, but i didnt build that. putting the sliders on and rear axle in.  also 5.29s spool rear, aussie front. dual 2.28 cases, and hopefully 37 in Iroks tires are last on the list though, i can still wheel with my 33s until i can affford the 37s.

I maybe buying a lifted 2002 TJ on 37" buckshots so I may stop working on my truck for a little while and put it up for the winter.

wait, why would you want to do that?

shad

I dunno it's a really good deal he will let me have it for $10,000.
I know the guy it only has 32,000 miles on it. It has a new clutch it has a 4.5" rubicon express lift on it with 4.88 gears he has lockrights for the front and rear he will include with it it has a nice rear bumper with a tire carrier a brand new 35x12.50 procomp xterrain on it and he will also throw in a SYE with it.
Reason he is getting rid of it he has too many toys.
He has a brand new decked out 2005 rubicon unlimted and a big lifted 6.2L diesel military truck,Also he has a big 2002 Dodge tow rig and the 02 TJ so he is making payments on all of them except the military truck.

What springs are you running now??  They are OK.  The front actually isnt that bad, but that back has no droop.  Mine are decently broken in and i was looking to run some other springs ill sell ya mine if ya want.

heres a pic for ya

shad

The front springs I have on mine are procrap 4" springs the bottom leaves broke on both of them so I threw a cut down leaf from a rear pack in it. They ride like total crap. I've been in 2 1/2 ton trucks and they ride better than that.

The back flexes ok with the chevy leaf pack. Right now I found my shocks are limiting the travel now so I need to reconfigure them.

Damn well it's a little late my 5" skyjackers are already on order today. I got them from jack it for $264 shipped with bushings.

I have a friend who might buy your old ones off ya. let me know how much you wanted for them.

just checkin back in its been a while....truck sat through most of the winter... did a ton of skiing, and i got in CU Boulder!!!

anyways the trucks back out now, and i will have pics probably by tomorrow, but we put my new CB in, we just started on the sliders today, and they will be in in 2 days.  the aussie is going in this week and im ordering my dual case adapter.  i think that will be more than enough to get me through this summer until i head to CO.  Tube doors go back on for the summer in another few weeks.

Phazertwo

It would be nice to have more than like 5 people on the board in CO!  CU  boulder is a good school, tho I don't go there, I am  only a few mins away!  Would be cool to wheel with some more yotas!

How do you like Boulder so far?  I miss not living there.  I'm now down south in Pueblo, about 1.5 hours away.  We should get a Colorado marlin group together sometime  :turtle:  I'd be up for some wheeling (once I get my 4Runner together and running Phazertwo )
