 I wish!! :rivers:  The bridge to Mobile, AL on I-10 is shut down with accidents. One very serious, according to the truckers there was a hazmat spill. THey're diverting everyone to 181 and the Battleship Pkwy (98)
We're going to stop at a Cracker Barrel and kick back for a bit.

:headshake:  I know :pokinit: happens but SHEESH!! Enough already!!

we're tryin, insane!  :headshake:

We stopped at that cracker barrel, I expected it to be packed cause of the wreck but it wasn't busy at all ergo no reason at all for the lousy service we got!
On top of that, the food was mediocre. Mark's wasn't bad, but my fries were not fresh at all, and the cornbread and biscuits were cold.
But, on the plus side, when asked 'was everything OK' Mark told em just what he thought and the manager comped the meal. Free dinner! :woohoo:

Oh no, not again.  :yikes:

I still have nightmares about last year, spending 4 hours in Barstow was not fun.

We're going to try, Reklund. I thought we had a longer way still to get to OK City. I was using Google map to do some guestimated distance/time calcs and must have put in an extra stop by mistake. So it seems we're still on the tentative schedule I had mapped out. :bud:

We were hoping to be close to the Albuquerque area sunday evening, PM me with your phone # so I can make sure what I have is correct. Mine hasn't changed. :phone: Hopefully we can meet up.

5:56am We couldn't sleep. We've been up for an hour and just got out of bed :eyebrow: Marks got coffee on, I've got breakfast sammiches in the convection oven, the weather channel is on TV and Marks laying on the engine trying to tweak it a bit. :_order: :whip:

Looks like we're going to get a bunch of rain today :rain: I'm going to get a blue tarp over the canvas tarp just to be on the safe side. HOPEFULLY people won't be :idiot: on the road today!
