I hate that about motorhomes, you don't use them enough to keep them in constant repair unless you keep checking them out. Then when you do bring it out nothing is working like it was when you parked it.

Yeah, the power steering hose blew. Mark said it had been rubbing against a bracket, I think, and blew just as he was pulling it out of the backyard.
Could you imagine if that let go on the interstate?? :yikes:
Now it's going to be a major ordeal for him to fix it. It's all tied together with other lines so he can't pull it out and he can't find a repair fitting so he's going to make something up himself! As usual :ack:

 right! In the Orlando area!  :rofl2:  Mark rigged something up himself.
Now he's working on the generator. It seems the coil is bad. He's running to Autozone to see if they have something that will be good enough to see if that is the fix it needs.

There's a place in orlando that services that model, hopefully we can get the part we need :crossed:

It's running, but not real good yet. I hate propane generators. Mainly cause I don't know the first thing about them.

I have to adjust all the pressure regulators for the correct pressures and check the timing, but it is showing progress.

Mark's co-worker, Mark, who lives right around the corner from us has the gauge Mark needs to adjust the regulators properly. It's a menometer.
So he's going to come over after work and help Mark out with that. :woohoo:

Got the gauge and couldn't get the pressures to adjust. It was o or full pressure. I took the regulator apart and found I left a spring out.  :_oops:

I have also been loosing a lot of tools lately, Maybe I am getting old.  :dunno:

But anyway I got the pressure set and it fired right up and ran like a champ. I took it for a nice long drive and just before I got home the generator died again and won't start.  :tantrum:  :headscratch: I will look at it later.  :willynilly:

No, it's a Kohler pos and the old coil had been changed before too. I guess an electronic ign coil don't like being run on points.

It also has two outputs which makes it fun to find a coil.

I am thinking about getting a Accel super coil and making a custom wire that splits off in two directions.  :dunno:

I guess I should call them and see how much this coil cost and if they have one in stock.

I called a local company that appears to service these generators, they recommended me to another local company for parts and for a mere $147.84 I will have a coil by lunch :ack:

Oh well, guess we need it. Oh, I have to go by 4-wheel parts and pick up the staun tire deflator tool too. That's in the same direction.
