Yes Sir, I gave My Girl SqWaDoosh the option to get TG or Marlin as it's part of a Bro deal and I wanted it to be up to Him.
He Said "I am getting You marlin, Period"
He is a salty b*std but also a very good friend with sidekick potential.
Thank You Andrew.  :smooch:

Something on this truck has to be from Marlin instead of Trail-Garbage.  :slap:

Regardless of price, or what country they manufacture their stuff, buying TG is a huge disservice to the offroad community.

Let's not forget that I bought My truck as someone else's unfinished project.  :qtip:
Most of that list came with the truck.  :dunno:
I will admit to buying some trail gear parts but only a few of the ones on that list.

Well good news and bad. Ubolts came in, and  they fit perfect as far as length but won't fit threw My top plate. I had 5/8 Ubolts  for 4" blocks before and ordered 5/8 ubolt shorts but the new shorter length will not allow me to stretch the bolts open enough to fit through the top plate. Sucks!
Called Ruff stuff this morning and they added only the additional cost to match the price of their flip kit. Thank You ruff stuff. (Good People)
Back to waiting. I might hog out My originals just for mockup purposes. Frustrating.

The new Ruff stuff top plates won’t be here until Wednesday or Thursday. That wouldn’t work since I have to protect SqWaDoosh’s ride from the evil residents of Maple Valley soon. Spent a few hours drilling cutting and filing My old top plates to fit. What a pain in the ass. I definitely have moved drill press, plasma cutter, and torch up My tool list.
New picture is with everything the same except rear blocks removed.
New frame to ground measurement 24 3/4”
Rear wheel well to tire 5 1/2”
Front wheel well to tire 9 1/2”
Rear receiver to ground original  29 1/2 now 25
Front receiver to ground original  24 3/4 now 24 1/2

Options
Replace front hanger to Allpro lowpro will drop the front 1”
Reaplace rear springs with 4 Leaf 63’s might bring Me up 1+ “ in the rear
Add a 1” fancy block to the rear that Drew and Dave showed Me.

Have not decided but I’m interested in opinions.
Couple other notes
I have 6 1/2 in the front before bumper contact
I have no intention on any fender cutting
Building for 37’sbut all measurements have been taken with 35’s on at street pressures.
Front springs have not settled yet
Changing the hanger could move my shock position to the point I have to move my shock hoops

They are a bad idea. They will want to unload on you on steep decents, had a friend run the same kind of shackle and it was super sketchy watching him go down the rock wall at walker or old Reiter. If you want more flex out of your springs just inboard them.

To throw a little flavor in the mix: I run those shackles with great success. Uphill, downhill, street, or rock works everywhere.

Anyway, I agree the rear should come up some bit if you plan on running 37s. Why not just install an "add-a-leaf" under your 63s? They're like ~$70. It will gain you about ~1.5in, and a more stable rear-end.

It used to be a "used car" and now they are "previously owned" to make them sound better.

It appears that what used to be a "block" is not a "Zero Rate Add a Leaf" that is now suddenly acceptable for use in the front?  I thought that was always a big no-no?

A 1 inch block in the rear of mine could shift my wheelbase a bit...I wonder if it would cause a major issue with my driveshaft length/angles...

It used to be a "used car" and now they are "previously owned" to make them sound better.

It appears that what used to be a "block" is not a "Zero Rate Add a Leaf" that is now suddenly acceptable for use in the front?  I thought that was always a big no-no?

Read the page. With lift blocks the U bolts come loose and then you die. this one bolts to the leaf and then the U bolts clamp the leaf down like normal.
