If I cannot use the massive Volvo IC, I will likely use a stock Supra IC and side mount it where battery used to sit on this truck.
An idea for you: I saw an 85 diesel X-cab at the yard last week (in the parking lot, not scrap) that had a built bumper like yours... and the IC was mounted in the front left corner behind some expanded steel. Of course I didn't get any pics... but it seemed like a really slick way of mounting an IC. I'm filing that idea away if I ever get a turbo on the Runner I don't have yet; I'm still kind of amazed the turbo engines didn't have an IC! Figured it went hand-in-hand; with turbo comes IC.
What do I know anyway?
