Think whatever you want, and I will think whatever I want. They will not always be the same opinion. I will be doing the first timing chain replacement at 200,000, haha.Power? yes. Mileage? No, more power equals more gas I will want to burn. Less? Yes it would have been cheaper to build a chevy motor to the same durability/power combo that I am building this engine to, but what about all the $$ adapters? Plus if I did a chevy 4.3 motor swap, I would be ditching the manual trans for an auto. Thats even more money. I think in the long run I will be just fine putting this much into my motor and keeping my original drivetrain for now. Of course I can always build a 4.3 or chevy 3.4 w/ supercharger for it later and drop those in along with an auto trans.
