Starting my Build! I NEED suggestionsjavascript:void(0);
« on: Oct 13, 2010, 01:08:27 AM »
Ive got an 83 pickup thats a 22R with weber carb and headman headers. I got the MC 4 inch front springs and 5 in rear but haven't installed it yet. I wanna run 35's so when I put on my lift do I need to do a brake upgrade?? What about Hydro Assist?? Regear?? javascript:void(0);   I wanna get an air locker so should I do it all at once?? Whats is absolutely necessary??

Any suggestions would be radicaljavascript:void(0);

id do the arb later and when you put on the lift springs you should get a ps box from an ifs truck or 4runner and i would be a great idea to regear your axles probably run 529 gears since your running 35s at this point i wouldn't worry about ram assist. also if you can afford the arb now do it all at once oh dont forget to lenghten your front drive shaft also are you going to be running dual transfer cases
88 4runner 92 cpi duals 37 radial rockers and 4.8 coming soon

If you are going to put a locker in the front axel chromoly is a must.  If you dont you will be replacing birfields left and right.  My favorite are longfields.  lifetime warrenty.
