Went to Walker Valley with my buddies Chris and Jesse yesterday. Status report is as such:
- I have a bad power steering leak from one of the mating flanges on my new power steering box.
- The steering seems to be working alright. Though still not as well as it should be (might have something to do with the leak letting air into the system)
- The mystery noise was persistent all day on the trails then just disappeared after getting back into my truck after getting some Red Robin.
So my plan is to clean up the flange as best as I can with a lot of brake cleaner and then use some "The Right Stuff" RTV to slow down/stop this leak long enough for Moab.
*EDIT* Forgot to add that the power steering is still getting very hot. Don't think its getting as hot as before but still very hot. Don't know if this is related to the leak or not.
