As some of you will know, bringing the shed over on a boat turned out to be a non starter.
I could have brought it over temporarily, ie when i was in the country ergo when i flew home it would have to be on the next boat out, which defeats the object as i wanted to leave it in the :usa: to be used for future wheeling trips. I also didnt want to pay the return shipping to then have a vehicle that was way overbuilt for using in the Uk (it would have been wider than most gate holes.

So..
Search for a new truck... Ive gotten quite familiar with craigslist. I Was looking for a clean, preferrably blue, long bed 1st gen, ive always wanted one cant get one here for love nor money.

I got to hear about exactly what i wanted and the deal was done. Brave really going on a description, a photo and trust.
Ive also discovered that banks are stingy gits, charging for inter continental bank transfers, its not like its hazardous or summin or even as though an office oik has to push buttons.

Anyway.
Its an '83 long bed, sr5, 22r, 33x12.5-15, w56 i think, 4.3:1 diffs (v6 front), 2 different shades of blue and thats all i know.

Im flyin over the first week in september to do all the necessary repairs and select mods ready for MCR and 4dice. Will also be using it after MCR to explore the area where we are staying.

The shed is in the shop in bits, stuff gettin piled on top of it, spiders webs all over it.... really dont know what to do with it. use all the bits off it i suppose, im currently eyeing up what will fit off it onto the new one.. On the plus side its saved me a heap of paperwork and BS.

Fabricating has begun.....
Rear bumper, steering box bracket, sliders, shackles and anything else i can concoct, shipping is cheaper overall than buying each individual item. Effectively making the 4.7case i have laying about £40.00 to ship. Instead of $ohratsitsnotinstock.
Happy days

Not to worry, the oil leak under your truck in the pics are from my truck since that is where I usually park. I gotta fix my head gasket. Glad I found your latest thread Steve.

That's right! That is the spot where we pulled his front axle apart and he left a mess in my driveway. Now that he has a garage I need to return the favor.  :joke:
