Went on a little trip to one of our favorite camp spots here in Washington, called Surprise Lake. The trail is not difficult but the camping is stellar.

Your an animal. No rest for that red truck. True example of Toyota's toughness.

SqWADoosh

Nope. I don't own a pole right now. The fishing is killer there though.

Well I've been on the fence about what is next for my truck. I've still got this power steering issue to sort out to the tune of over $500 of which I just don't have right now. In the meantime I'm going to just have to keep topping the fluid off and hope I don't burn up my pump. I did make a discovery in that the "mystery noise" from right before Moab is my pump whining when the fluid gets too low. The noise came back and I realized it went away soon as I topped off the reservoir. Still makes no sense why it goes away when I put the clutch in but eh whatever  :dunno:

In other news the summer is here and I've got a lot of trips planned. Minimum of two Naches trips the first of which being my club's annual and the second being the Marlin bash in July. Also trying to get an Evans Creek run in, but I don't feel right going there without Mark and he's hit some bumps on his road to finishing his truck. Thinking it might be the trip to finish off the summer. I'll be hosting some Canadians for the first Naches trip with them reciprocating with a trip up there later this summer. Can't wait for that

:)bestgen4runner

Canada boys coming down for club run? Is that 100% for sure.

LOL just noticed your signature. Is this a reference to a particular experience?

Just trying to be funny and truthfull at the same time. Its a rare accomplishment.
You drive fast and I drive very slow. I am sure I will have several opportunities to use my signature.

I suspect that I drive medium/moderate speeds given our recent time together.

Been flip flopping around on keeping my truck or getting an SAS Tacoma. Can't find a good SAS Tacoma for sale that isn't half way across the country. Other thoughts have been creeping in. Like taking my truck up to BC to slacker and toyotafiberglass.com and having him replace my fenders with his fiberglass high clearance ones. Also a supercharger for a 3rz is up for sale locally....  :eyebrow:

Any reason for these ugly thoughts?

Just not been happy with my truck. I think the butchered rear fenders are really making me itch. Really wish I would have gone a different route with those. Also she's been a dog ever since putting the bulls on. Had to use 3rd far too much on the trip over to the east side last weekend. I don't know, I'm just being stupid probably.

I think this is the addiction talking, cant leave it alone.  :screwy: ive be dealing with this problem since I was 16  :hammer:

An extra 50-75 HP would help with the down shifting
