UPDATE:

I shimmed down the cross member 3/4" and the transmission noise went away! TECH SUPPORT did respond thanks to the forum.

I still need to get a CV joint installed and will be in the market for one.

Also need a permanent fix for the cross member not sure what I will do but probably an after market with the modification.

I like my budbuilt. Sad part about the MC bashing here in this thread is that this all could have been avoided by some simple research  :_order:
Should change the posting title. Stop giving people the wrong idea. Probably gonna delete this because It's hard for people to take responsibility these days.

Not bashing anyone....when I spend $2500 with a company all I want is someone to take a call. That finally happened but it took weeks!

The title is correct....there was NO reponse, with that said they are helping me now and I appreciate that!

SE OK Mark

I should clarify that Marlin folks told me they were having some phone and server issues which caused them to not be able to take all call and respond to emials in a timely manner.

I get that.....and will continue to do business with Marlin Crawler Company!

Glad to hear it's just a drive line issue, the cv will fix your issue as you know. Which cv ya planning on using? Clearanced ifs cv? You will have to check the angle from tcase to pinion, also shim or reweld the spring perches to point the pinion 2degrees below the tcase

If you go the aim route which is not preffered.. make sure they are Steele shims ;)

I hear ya, but this is a common problem. Been fighting it myself for a while.. that's all I'm saying. Glad you got it figured.

I will take that! I am the dude who didn't research the topic enough. I got tunnel vision with this issue. I have learned my lesson and will not clutter this forum with my apprentice type questions again.

For those guy's who did help me get in touch with Marlin....Thank You! The forum work well.

For those who were annoyed by my post.....I apologize.

I would just like to add that many of us here on the forum enjoy answering questions. And helping others expand their knowledge in an effort to hopefully grow our hobby overall. What we would all like to avoid is needlessly tarnishing the good name of Marlin and company and their quality products.
