To do list
-run vacuum line from evap to tank vent
-pickup and install drive shaft
-install air filter
-get ac lines made and install
-install radiator/hoses and fan
-install shifters (this is the only big thing left)
-cut hood
-install harness(I'm still waiting for this)
-tow to exhaust shop
-add fluids
-start, drive and enjoy

Who's doing the drive lines?

Maybe we can get a discount on our shipping if we place the order at the same time LOL.

Hey, I'll just throw it out there that I've had 7 shafts built by Highangle, 5 rears and 2 fronts. The front they sent me for my dads runner is OK and runs up to 30mph vibe free. The one they sent for my truck is so sloppy in the splines I cant run it any faster than trail speed with out hard core vibes and I'm blowing a couple oem u joints every summer. Forest roads in the snow really suck.  I talked to Jess about it and he told me to grease it every time I go out. It helps for about 10 min :smack: Not cool for a $375 shaft, I'll be replacing it this fall. The rears have all been top notch, but I'm looking else where for fronts from now on. I know HA knows what they're doing but this has been my experience.

If you find someone locally that will do long slip shafts let me know. As of right now my plan for going with HA will cause me to have to leave my truck at zip's for at least 3 days while we wait for the shafts to arrive. Would love it if someone local could do my shafts. Only game in town I've found is NW Drivelines and they won't do long slip and they have a terrible reputation.

Finished the evap system.

Used a small K&N filter I had for the vent line

Painted the intake bracket. Looks good. Filter arrives mis week.

Pick up the rear drive shaft at 41 5/8" Not going to put it in, make it easier to dolly to the exhaust shop.

Not completely factory looking. But i think it looks clean.

Going to wait until the wiring is done to install the rad and hoses. So the only thing left are the shifters. Which should be half a dayish at most. And the AC lines.
If you see it, its for sale.

I got some work done. I pulled a vacuum on the AC system. It didn't hold it very long.

Got 85% of the shifter stuff done. Found some really nice 1/4-20 nut certs. Also put down some POR 15.  I had to make the rear gasket holder.

If you see it, its for sale.

Spent the weekend helping SqWADoosh. Went a little slower then we had hoped. But we got some jigs made. Got his rear axle build and bolted up.

Got ym OME springs and rear shocks.

I hate waiting for charcole to heat, I found a quick way to do it. My propane blow torch had it red hot in about 4 min. Awesome.

If you see it, its for sale.

Got the 3.0 radiator and what not finished up. Found a Gates 21025 works perfect for the lower hose. Top is stock. Fan is from a 3.0 part number16361-65020.  They made two types, one with a suround the other just fines. This is the smaller of the two. I will have to find a shroud.

Only thing left is wiring. I am still waiting for the ORS harness.
If you see it, its for sale.

SqWADoosh

THX! I'm excited to get her on the road again. ORS just seems to be slow on the harness.

Next weekend is my SAS. I am still waiting for the harness from ORS. Then its off to the exhaust shop.

Got a new pitty! Her name is Indy

I found this weird drink at the store. It wasn't bad.

Parts for the front.

Parts for the rear.

Axle is complete hub to hub. Well needs calibers, but thats a small thing.

OME springs front and rear.

I like the idea of removeable bump stops. So I drilled and tapped the top plate.

If you see it, its for sale.
