If you do it this way:

and have a tight nut, it won't come apart if the nut is over the seam (even slightly)

If you see it, its for sale.

zippo

Still waiting on parts! They should be here soon, or so I have been told. Upgraded the dash lights to LED. Nice upgrade!

Also cut out the old battery box. I'm thinking of throwing some POR15 on it.

Also got the front tub bumper off. Waiting on the new allpro one. which they emailed and said will be two or three weeks out. sucks.
If you see it, its for sale.

Instead of selling that rifle you should have took it to the original machine shop and demanded money back and answers!  :tantrum:

So i'm STILL WAITING ON PARTS! I'm about to go crazy waiting. It is taking forever! Did get some fun stuff though.

All-pro sliders. They look nice!

Got the head cleaned up/valve job and back from the machine shop. The black is graphite pait, they put on things.

Got the intake back together and mostly cleaned up. Also found the filer I am thinking of running.

If you see it, its for sale.

Got some more fun. Still waiting on engine parts :-(

Bought a starrett dial bore gauge. So I can check things better. Starrett 3089z-131-26J 2"-6"

Craigslist t-case!

Gotta give props to 84_yota_4wd. Hooked me up with a MC07 used prototype.

I wonder what the markings mean...

Started pulled the case apart and found LEAVES!

Started cleaning. Lots of cleaning.

Cut the frame open to replace on of the cross-member captured nuts.

If you see it, its for sale.

helipilot77 came over and helped me weld on some sliders! They turned out nice. Welded them with flux core which isn't my favorit. Just doesn't seem to give as nice of a looking weld.

Strong enough to jack the runner up with though!

AllPro Sliders

Cleaned the welds, and threw on some paint.

If you see it, its for sale.

SOOOOOOO.... Still waiting on engine parts.... But other goodies have come...

In preperation for the doubler I relocated the 4runner center console switches. I also embedded some metal to help keep it from cracking. We shall see.

I don't even have a solid axle. But ordered a set of 25mm arms. Make sure I have them when the time comes.

I no longer have a press in the shop. So I had to improvise. Got the job done.

What the hell do I do with it now? J/k sky crossmember shipped today!
If you see it, its for sale.

#234
Rear shifter is in. I found a handfull of shifter at the junk yard but no bases. So I order a billet one from Marlin. I also scored the boots. I think it turned out well. Might try and straighten it.  Also dropp my driveshafts off at Drivelines NW. 39" in the rear 32" in the front and stepped up to 095 wall tubing. It was an extra 40 bucks or something. So what the hell.

Also got confimation the engine parts finally shipped. I really wanted some high compression pistons, but the waite was killing me, I need my runner up and running. So I am going to a more factory style. Should be back up and running by the end of the month.

If you see it, its for sale.

84_yota_4wd

Looks nice thats how i want to do mine. I think they retain a factory look like that.

Lets see if I can overload the page with pictures...

Got my S-K torque wrenches calibrated. The 1/2 inch had some other problems but was covered under warranty. http://anglerepair.com/

Got the drivelines. Nice and clean with .095 wall tubing, 2 new u-joints. https://www.drivelinesnw.com/

Installed my new billet shifter base. I don't know why the FSM doesn't tell you about this much faster and easier fill port. Weird.

Done.

If you see it, its for sale.
