I use mine as a power steering fluid cooler, but either way you might as well use it.

Do you think it will be able to handle the oil pressure?

The return side of the ps system is low pressure.
If you see it, its for sale.

Oh heh. Well atleast i'm still correct, just out of context. I did some reading and seems transmissions can run 200 PSI or so. So should work fine as an oil cooler.

I spoke with Jim @ 22REperformance.com about building a 3RZ that can handle 20psi.  Gonna speak again in a few days and get some details about parts and pricing.  :drooling:

You are right. I just looked but I did find one under 83 pickup, electrical switch- dimmer switch. When I got mine it wasn't 100% correct and I had to splice some wires. Part #tw35

I have the whole complete steering wheel column from my 87 4 runner.  Just not sure what you need off it.  Is that the top or the bottom of the column?

You have to pull the steering wheel off and then the switch is held on with 4 Phillips head screws

MRHilux87

I have the whole column so just PM me Nation if you want me to ship it to you.  or txt me.  707-951-1978.

Lets talk Dynos for a minute...

The guy at the dyno shop told me I am running very lean. afm is at 14 @ full boost on the paper print out.. MY AFR IN THE CAB SAYS 11.2 @ wot.
I am assuming my catalytic converter is throwing off their reading???
He also told me that larger intercooler piping would allow my turbo to spool quicker...  I was under the impression that it was just the opposite.. smaller piping= quicker spool because it creates pressure sooner? ... Im sure theres a rule about piping size in relation to boost numbers.

What kind of AF guage do you have and where is the sensor?  Intercoolers and their pipes have a sweet spot. You don't want to be too big or too small for the volume or air moving through. I have no idea how to calculate it though. So I'm no help there.

Did you perform the Wideband calibration per instructions? That may cause a false readind or could be that their wideband isn't reading correctly...

Smaller intercooler piping allows for quicker spool... Takes less time to fill the pipes/intercooler but has an impact on the top end/flow. I was going to run 3'' on the Audi, but came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to push over 400hp so I went with 2.5'' piping which made it WAY easier to fit the car... You should be running 2.5'' piping in my opinion!

Yes, I performed the calibration per instructions. What is the rule of thumb for intercooler piping size vs. Boost?

If you are going to push over 450-500hp @25-30psi 3'' would be ideal, 200-450hp @10-25psi 2.5'' would be ideal, anything below that 2-2.5'' works fine...

The cat is most likely whats giving them the offset reading...
