The placement of my gauges has been a real pain. I'm pretty sure this is all temp. Until I just get a gauge pillar, all the time I've spent moving and building brackets I should have just spent the money in the first place for a nice pillar mount.

Tuning has already gotten twice as good now that I can see what my afr is. Just on my way to work this morning I worked a ton of lean areas. Still got some lean spots to take care of, little at a time.

I've already cranked up the boost a little. Figured if I'm guna fine tune it I might as well have it where it makes the most power. I'm maxed on my wastegate if I want any higher I guess I'll need a boost controller. My wastegate is 7 psi

How much boost? Intercooler? I dropped 2psi after the intercooler install. I am running 8 on my stock ecu. I'm running so rich. Afm regularly sees 9-10..  if I crank up the boost any higher the ecu or injectors can't handle it and it leans waaay out. Can't wait for some tuning action.

No intercooler, guna install it this week. Now runnin 7 psi with afr between 10 and 15 but mostly dialed in at around 12.   My truck stabs ass now.

I'll have some pictures of my intercooler install. And also I can't imagine not havin a way to tune my ecu, I've been adding a ton of fuel all over. I'm surprised your runnin rich I was runnin lean everywhere, every motor is different I suppose and setup

I think now I need a tuner that adjusts timing. Guna upgrade soon then run the maf calibrator on my wife's 4 runner and adjust for her cold air and exhaust, give her another 50hp! Guna go with the urd fuel timing calibrator beins I'm familiar with their software now. It's about 410$. I would go aem if I didn't get used to the urd stuff first. I wonder what software aem uses, I doubt it's split second, I'll have to look into that

One little problem I'm having now that I cranked up the boost is when I'm under a lot of load like starting off on a hill if I give it alit of throttle I lean out like a sob. So there's an area on the fuel map that this activity is happening that I've been adding a ton more fuel than any other area. I'm getting closer to dialing it in but it's very touchy.

Tuning without a dyno is time consuming, I could just put my truck on blocks and try it that way but it acts a lot different under load than just putting your wheels in the air, that's where it gets complicated. Running on rollers at the dyno you actually put load on your vehicle. Time to fab up some rollers I guess haha!

It's all good. I used to think I had a fast Acura until a dodge diesal f---in smoked me. After that I figured I could prob make my Tacoma faster than that Acura haha. Vtech was kinda fun though.

This is the intercooler I'm guna run. It's out of a Toyota car I think, not exactly sure what model. It's nice and small so I can tuck it in under my pass side headlight for now. Ill prob have to move it around once my 04 front clip goes on cause I'm replacing the core support as well

I got it all plumbed in for my trip over to prineville/bend area. Now I gotta retune a bit but not much. I guess I'll see the difference on my long ass drive. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow

Mr2 sounds right cause I guess it was a top mount. In my truck right now it's a ghetto mount cause I was in a hurry for my road trip.

I hooked my ic up to see if it made a difference and it seems to help with acceleration. Don't mind my crappy install I just wanted it in for my road trip this weekend so I could test it out. I'll put it out front of the core support later.

Here's some pics I took of my valve cover vent and the one way valve so my pcv valve dosnt take all the abuse from boost pressure, it's just insurance so boost dosnt find its way in to the valve cover

Did some wheelin in central Oregon over the weekend. Broke my rear driveline on a jump toward the top of a hill climb. I think I used to thin of tubing, I'll take some pics of it and how it twisted around 5 times before it snapped. Here's some pics of the hill I got stuck on after I snapped the dl. And only had front wheel drive. No locker in front only the rear so that didn't help either.
