I'm not too worried about the heater core. Should be easy enough and while I have the interior gutted I'm gonna clean up some of my wiring and fix my cab leaks that I found. Trying to make this thing nice! One day it'll be there

That is understandable. I drive mine daily and have to keep it clean. Not much room for clutter in these little things. I don't regret the 3rz swap, but I really want to do a Ls swap now.

Yours is a whole lot cleaner than mine back there! I don't think mines been opened up in 30 years besides someone hacking up the wiring and cover to put a radio in.

Did you have AC? Mine had a lot of duct work and stuff. If you need anything dash related, let me know. I bought a big tub to put all the wiring in and all the dash pieces.

ImmortalYota80

It had ac when I bought the truck but it looked like a add on didn't look factor was kinda hacked so I got rid of it all. I just got all the duct stuff I needed from pick n pull so everything plumbed up now like it's supposed to. Heater works great now! Got it all back together

finally ditching the 63s, whys that? i love my f150s lol just make sure you use an overload. i s'd a set of springs with 1 con trip when i ran them without the overload.

Not enough lift for me and they don't hold a load worth a :pokinit: and I use my truck as a truck pretty often. I'm gonna probably make a 5 leaf pack and see how that does.

yeah I've never been a fan of Chevy 63s lol. A 5 leaf f150 pack is gonna lift you up a ton. I have a 3 leaf pack with an overload and I don't like the way it sits with no weight in the back, it's a bit tall for my liking. But once I'm packed for a trip it lowers down quite a bit. I really like ranger springs on pickups, but they give you little to no lift lol. A couple inches over stock if that. Makes you super slammed but still flex and ride fine.

I can always adjust my shackles accordingly to adjust the height I want to run. Or just pull a leaf pretty easy

This is why I hate the Chevys. Hard to tell but clapped out riding on the overloads with not that much weight time for a change

I haven't wheeled my Chevy 63's yet, but I can already tell they're gonna wanna wrap pretty bad.. Anti-wrap is on the list..

Those ranger springs sound nice (i like really low lift), but I'll link the rear before I mess with leafs again  :D

Where'd you find your leaks?  I cleaned the mud out of the left side of the drivers footwell where water has been running in and flooding the floorboard and cannot see where or how it's coming in.  Also noticed the passenger side developed a similar leak this year too.

My windshield seal was leaking. So I resealed it with some silicone. I also have a small leak comming from the speaker holes that are cut in my doors for the 6x9s I have. Still haven't decided what I want to do about that yet

This is where I'm stopping for the night. Everything has been removed and I installed the new heater hoses and the new icv hoses. Waiting for the paint to dry on the new intake then just bolt everything back together and tune in the new tps.

All in all this cost my around $750. But could be done much cheaper as I did buy all oem parts and hoses that's where the biggest expense came from. Now a quick tip for adjusting a tps on these engines. Everybody makes a huge fus over adjusting these tps's. It's super easy the quick and easy way is to have it tightened down so you can still move it but have it stay in place. With the truck running and warmed up jump the diagnostic connector you jump to check timing. Now simply turn the tps until the engine rpm's drop once you have it in the exact position where it drops the rpm's tighten the screws down and your done! I went back and tested everything with my multimeter and its adjusted dead nuts perfect. So there's a little helpful tip for you guys
