Did you figure out the battery issue yet?

If not check the 80 amp fuse thing in the fuse box in the engine bay. Rick (Geno) had the sammmmme problem coming back from the highlakes one night and it was that 80amp and it popped.

I had a cop push my ford through an intersection a couple months ago.  the ford was found on road dead of course and wouldn't start.  he asked meto take the tow hitch off and then he came up to the bumper.  light turned green and he floored it with the tires squreeching and everything it was awesome.  then he left.  had to have my room mate tow it with a strap about 3 miles.  did you figure out the problem yet?  i blew one of the big fuses under my hood once on the trail and evrything died.  put new one in and it has been goo ever since.

Is there any way for it to be caused by the battery not having enough charge?
I had just jumped it and it died while floored speed shifting....

I'll be checking the big fuses also, thanks guys.

Its possible. I know Geno's 4runner always had a charge light yet it always was charging... idk.

I dont think speedshifting would do anything, Just a coincidence.

I still definitely think its that fuse.

get off your ass and have a look at it.

better yet, pop the hood and put David on the valve cover with a test light. :joke:

Maybe I missed it, but what ended up happening with the Marlin arms? You wanna sell 'em? I MIGHT be interested.

Also, how do you like the new arms, or did you have long enough to get a good feel for them?

also i was just in your "hood" on thursday for work. had to go to tracy honda to trade a car from us to them.

It runs but the battery is in need of a serious charge. Haven't had time to do it yet. All the fuses are good.

Got a new battery today, but it didn't start, just cranked a lot. Also dented the metal tube between radiator hoses, got licked by my super friendly dogs....

So yeah, replaced the battery, now it won't start, throws code 11 and the fuel pump doesn't run on the bypass with the key in "on". :tantrum:

turns over but no pop right? maybe you have some kind of bad connection going to the ecu? give everything a little tug and see if somethings lose. sounds like a pain in the butt.

talked to him. It could be the fuel pump relay at this point also.

Truck is running, added 1 qt oil, 5 qts gear oil, went for a test drive and all seems good(ish). :thumbs:
