Glad to see it back together! :beerchug:

Mini, what's your initial feelings on the new motor mounts with that crossmember?  Do you notice much more vibrations/more noise?  Glad to see the truck is back together...and dang, that is one lifelike baby hood ornament!  I would be afraid of diaper blow-by and the added blind spot though. :gap:

Well, the whole 2 times I've driven it 100 feet in my back yard, it feels good, runs like crap, but I don't notice much more vibration than I had. I can still rest a beer can on top of the intake manifold and it will sit still and not shake.

I only get to work on it for an hour a day during the week, so it's kinda a slow process.
Lucky!!!,I only get to work on mine on Saturdays and I have to drive over to my parents' house(bout 23 miles)and have my mom watch my kids for me and the weekends that my wife is off I try to take advantage but you know that gets old after a while.Nice progress though, looks like you have a better chance of going than I do.

Yeah, the kids make it challenging.
Yesterday MiniMini though it would be a good idea to play in my pile of bolts and dis-organize my nice pile of tools.
It's kinda hard to install stuff 1 handed also.

Completely off topic but, I seen your truck in the latest issue of CRWAL.  Might have already been brought up but that is cool.  Have fun at MCR.

I remember you saying you had to install a new fuel pump and busted one of the studs that hold it in place.

So the fuel pump was the problem??

I thought you checked to see if you were getting good fuel pressure?

I was getting good fuel flow (unobstructed) but the pressure was about 15psi low. Fuel pump fixed it all.

Shamb

glad to hear you got it figured out, i'll chalk that one in the database for future reference if I or anyone else has a problem like that.
